How to use scribd
Getting Started
Go to [Link] or download the Scribd app (Android/iOS).
Sign up using Google, Apple, Facebook, or your email.
2. Free Trial & Subscription
Scribd usually gives a 30-day free trial (sometimes less, depending on offers).
After that, it’s a paid subscription service (monthly fee).
Without a subscription, you can only preview a few pages of most documents/books.
3. Finding Content
Use the search bar to look for books, audiobooks, documents, magazines, sheet music,
or study guides.
Scribd has:
o Books & Audiobooks (like Kindle + Audible in one)
o User-uploaded documents (notes, guides, papers)
o Podcasts & Magazines
4. Reading & Listening
Click on the title → It opens in an online reader (or audio player).
You can adjust:
o Font size
o Background color
o Offline download (for paid users in the app)
5. Uploading Documents
You can also upload your own documents (PDF, DOC, PPT).
Some users upload NCERT solutions, guides, or notes—so it’s useful for schoolwork.
6. Downloading
Officially, Scribd allows offline downloads only in the app (for subscribers).
If you want PDFs directly, Scribd doesn’t allow full free downloads (except some free
docs).
⚡ In short: Scribd is like a mix of library + Audible + notes-sharing platform, but the full use
needs a subscription.
