Summary

The Depot Manager is responsible for the overall containers depot


performance, overseeing the daily operations, driving the overall
business and ensure operations compliance & excellence of the
assigned Depot, in order to deliver sustainable profitable growth and
achieve corporate goals.

The incumbent develops performance and service quality KPIs,


development strategies and business partnership to accelerate
company growth and profits. S/he acts as a leader who motivates
people, ensure people development, and build a high performing team
to achieve and exceed the KPIs for the depot business.

Key Responsibilities

 Manage and ensure that the core activities are functioning


smoothly and efficiently, while developing and driving strategies,
in line with Group’s strategies, allowing to achieve long term
profitable growth in assigned depot.

 Analyze markets, identify business opportunities, develop


business prospects for a sustainable growth of the business.

 Keeping abreast with emerging issues in the industry and advise


management and clients accordingly

 Drive strategic improvement to enhance operational and


organizational efficiency.

 Identify key customers and build sustainable relationships with


new and existing key customers

 Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

Sensitivity: Internal
 Full P&L responsibility. Oversee control of all the financial aspects
of the business and balance sheet including forecasting and
budgeting

 Propose measures to improve profitability, when relevant, in


accordance with the Group strategy

 Prepare and present the financial reports, budgets and forecasts


for entities under his scope to Geneva Headquarter.

 Analyze operations and develop cost effective suggestions in line


with business’s direction

 Review operational procedures and make necessary


amendments to achieve high standards of execution, to meet or
exceed customer expectations

 Lead and develop his/her team, promote a culture of learning


and continuous improvement.

 Foster a culture of high performance and engagement within the


organization

 Establish and implement Health, Safety, Security, Environment


(HSSE) and all other business compliance standards. Accountable
to ensure a safe work environment and a continuous
improvement in HSSE processes

 Drive digital and other creative solutions to address business


challenges

 Expedites the resolution of customer problem and complaints;

 Achieve core KPI targets for Operations: Productivity, Quality,


Delivery Safety, Inventory

 Achieve core KPI targets for Finance: P&L, Cash

 Crucial role of representing the company with external


stakeholders in assigned depot (subcontractors, administration,
government authorities, etc.)

 Other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by the management

Key Experience & Qualifications

 Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Logistic/Transportation, Business


Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent

 Minimum 10 years in similar positions running a depot business


unit with P&L responsibility

 Experience in finance related matters, setting budgets and


reporting against financial objectives, and P&L management
experience

 Understand the transport industry and ability to relate with


shipping company and other associated industry managers.

 Experience in leading and deliver change initiatives

 Proficiency in English

 Business developer with entrepreneurial mindset and ability to


work independently

 Experience in cost and productivity optimization through process


optimization, as well as design and implementation of new
operation procedures

 Experience in finance related matters, setting budgets and


reporting against financial objectives.

performing teams

 Hands-on mentality and results orientated

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

 Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills

 Good communication skills

 Good presentation, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

environment

 Ability to navigate in a matrix environment
