Operation of the system

The system is activated by turning the ignition key to the OFF position.
Start the engine.
Check that the immobilizer indicator lights up for a short period of time Fig. 7.
There is a failure in the system if:
The immobilizer indicator blinks quickly.
The immobilizer light does not turn on.
The immobilizer warning light remains on.

How - with two or more programmed keys

NOTE: Complete each step within 30 seconds of the previous one, unless otherwise stated.

Have all the keys.


With the first programmed key, proceed as follows:
Turn the ignition key from the ON position to the LOCK position five times within 5 seconds.
Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
Check that the immobilizer indicator lights up Fig. 7.
Turn the ignition key to the LOCK position and remove the key.
Check that the immobilizer indicator light goes out. Fig. 7.
With the second key programmed, proceed as follows:
Start the engine.
Check that the immobilizer indicator lights up for 1 to 2 seconds Fig. 7.
Turn the ignition key to the LOCK position and remove the key.
Repeat the procedure with the first programmed key as follows:
Start the engine.
Check that the immobilizer light turns on for 1 to 2 seconds Fig. 7.
Turn the ignition key to the LOCK position and remove the key.
With each new key, proceed as follows:
Start the engine.
Check that the immobilizer indicator lights up for 1 to 2 seconds Fig. 7.
Turn the ignition key to the LOCK position and remove the key.
To exit programming mode: Wait 30 seconds.
To confirm the correct programming, start the engine with each of the keys. Wait a minimum of 5 seconds.

How - if there is one or no programmed key available

NOTE: To carry out this procedure it is necessary to have the 8-digit security code - consult the
dealership.

With the first new key, proceed as follows:


Turn the ignition key from the ON position to the LOCK position five times within 5 seconds.
Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
Check that the immobilizer indicator blinks at intervals of 0.3 seconds Fig. 7.
Turn the ignition key to the LOCK position and wait 5 minutes until the indicator blinks at intervals of 1.2.

You can now program the security code number. Proceed as follows:
When the immobilizer indicator is not on, turn the ignition key to the ON position and count the number
of flashes that correspond to the first digit of the security code.
Turn the ignition key to the LOCK position immediately after the indicator turns off after emitting the last signal.

With the second new key, proceed as follows:
Start the engine.
Check that the immobilizer indicator lights up for 1 to 2 seconds Fig. 7.
Turn the ignition key to the LOCK position and remove the key.
Repeat the previous procedure with the remaining programmed keys and/or new keys.
To exit programming mode: Wait 30 seconds.
