00 DEMOLITION OF STRUCTURES

DESCRIPTION
This work consists of the total or partial removal of structures from the sewers.

DEMOLITION METHODS

ARRANGEMENT OF MATERIALS

The evaluation of the 'Demolition and Removal' work will be carried out according to
indicated in Subsection 04.11(a) of the General Provisions.

MEASUREMENT
The measure for demolition and removal, carried out according to the plans, inventory
in-situ of each structure before being demolished, this specification, and the
Supervisor's instructions will be carried out according to the following modalities:

PAYMENT
The quantity determined according to the measurement method will be paid at the unit price of
contract established for this item, for all work executed satisfactorily of
agreement with this specification, accepted by the Supervisor and as provided
in Subsection 07.05 of the General Provisions.
The unit price must also cover all costs for the necessary operations
to carry out the demolitions and to make the disassemblies, plans, separation of
recoverable materials, loading, unloading and storage; removal, transfer and
reinstallation, restoration of existing service elements, equipment, labor,
tools and unforeseen events necessary to complete the game.

The Contractor must consider, in relation to explosives, all costs that

they involve their acquisition, transportation, escorts, storage, surveillance, handling, and
control, up to the site of use.

The unit price must also include the costs for the excavation for the
demolition and removal and for the supply, shaping, and compaction of the material for
filling of the resulting cavities and in general, all costs related to the correct
execution of the specified work, in accordance with the provisions of Subsection 07.05 of the
General Provisions.

The transport of waste materials, as ordered by the Supervisor, to a

distance greater than 120 meters from the demolition site will be paid separately,
through line items 05.01.00 TRANSPORT OF DEBRIS D < 1.00 km and
05.02.00 TRANSPORT OF DEBRIS D > 1.00 km, if applicable, deducting
always the free transport distance of 120 meters.
