Educational Program on Arterial Hypertension
Specialized center for education on High Blood Pressure
Aimed both at the population diagnosed with hypertension, as well as for
healthy individuals as a measure of health promotion and prevention
General Objective
To convey a complete, clear, and simple education regarding the
HTA Diagnosis, risks, treatments, and prevention, influencing
positively in the learning of our clients.
Specific Objectives
Provide information on concepts, diagnosis, factors of
risk, complications, treatment, and prevention of hypertension.
Knowledge and adherence to pharmacological treatment in the
people with hypertension.
Encourage the practice of physical exercise and a healthy diet.
Create a positive atmosphere of participation among our
clients.
Determine the effectiveness of the educational program
This educational program will be divided into 5 sessions:
Session 1.
Topics: Hypertension as a disease
Blood Pressure and its normal parameters.
Definition and diagnosis of hypertension.
Factors that influence hypertension
Objective
Provide users with basic information related to the
