1 Turn on the machine

Turn the main switch until the Press the ON key (it Unlock button of
ON position (at the rear of the it will remain lit emergency

2 Turn off machine

Follow the reverse process: press the emergency button, press the OFF key and turn the
main switch to the OFF position.

3 Move the machine manually

18 Start machining in the middle of the program

program, NEW, type the name of the folder or program, choose PROG OR FOLDER.

EDIT, 2 N.PAGE or NEMU VERTICAL + > until PROG, PROG, DIR, navigate through the folders to where it will be created
new folder or new program, enter the name of the folder or program, choose CREATEPROG OR
CREATEFOLDER.

22 Copy program from memory card to CNC via QUICK/NC

EDIT, QUICK/NC, QUICK EDITOR, LIST, select folder where the program will be copied, ARROW OF
RIGHT to MEMORY CARD, select the program to be copied, INPUT, EXEC, END

Copy CNC program to the memory card via QUICK/NC

EDIT, QUICK/NC, QUICK EDITOR, LIST, select the folder where the program to be copied is, ARROW OF
RIGHT until EXIT, check/edit file name, EXEC, END

24 Copy program from memory card to CNC outside of QUICK/NC

30 Simulation GUIDE

30.1 Prepare simulation block

QUICK/NC off, EDIT, GRAPH, N.PAGE, hover the cursor over the program name, < or > (right arrow
or left), START, RAW PC, choose piece material, SELECT, configure material data,
INSERT.

30.2 Fill in the correct data for the GUIDE simulation tools

EDIT, GRAPH, N.PAGE, < or > (right or left arrow), CORR-F, configure broker data,
CLOSE.

30.3 3D Simulation

EDIT, GRAPH, N.PAGE, < or > (right or left arrow), SIMULATE, REWIND, START, wait for completion of
simulation, DESGRF.

30.4 Wireframe display simulation

EDIT

31 Copy entire program by GUIDE

QUICK/NC off, EDIT, GRAPH, N.PAGE, < or > (right or left arrow), O LIST, select
program to be copied, < or > (right or left arrow), COPY, type the name of the program, arrow to
down, choose the folder, COPY, CLOSE.

Note: by QUIC/NC if the name of the program is edited, when saving the file a copy will be created.

EDIT, QUICK/NC, QUICK EDITOR, LIST, navigate through folders and select the program to be copied,
SELECT, EDIT, position cursor at the beginning of the copy, COPY/MOVE, COPY, START, move cursor to
select text, END, CANCEL, LIST, navigate through the folders and select the program that will receive the
text, SELECT, EDIT, move cursor to the location where the copy will be made, COPY/MOVE, EXEC.

36 Save display screen to memory card

QUICK/NC off, MDI, vertical menu, > until DEFINED, enable parameter writing (a will appear a

disable writing parameters, RESET to exit the alarm, insert memory card, choose the screen,

37 Usining via memory card - DNC

EDIT, QUICK/NC, vertical menu and activate REMOTE MODE, insert memory card with the programs,
turn off QUICK/NC, MDI, vertical menu, SETTING, change COMMON CHANNEL.=4, EDIT, 2 NPAGE or menu
vertical PROG, DIR, OPRT, CHANGE DISPOS, M CARD I/O, select program, DNC DEF, 2 NPAGE or
vertical menu PROG, SINGLE, CYCLE START once and check if the program is correct.

38 Use via memory card –M198

Insert memory card with the programs, QUICK/NC off, MDI, vertical menu, SETTING,
change COMMON CHANNEL.=4
Note: the programs must be named O????–without extension.
