Title of Activity: Induction Program of SPTA and HPTA Officers 2025

I.Project Summary
The induction of the School Parent Teachers Association (SPTA) and Homeroom Parent Teachers
Association (HPTA) was successfully conducted to formally recognize and empower the newly elected
officers in their roles as vital partners in the school’s development and student success. The activity aimed
to strengthen collaboration between parents, teachers, and school administrators by fostering a shared
commitment to education and community involvement.
II. Objectives Achieved
Successfully inducted new SPTA and HPTA officers.
Established clear understanding of leadership roles and responsibilities.
Strengthened the partnership between school and parents.
Encouraged active parental participation in school programs and activities.
III. Program Highlights
The induction ceremony for the School Parent Teachers Association (SPTA) and Homeroom Parent
Teachers Association (HPTA) was successfully conducted on Aug.01,2025 at Barugo II Central School Hall.
The event marked the formal recognition and installation of newly elected parent and teacher officers who
will serve as vital partners in promoting collaboration between the school and the community. The program
commenced with an opening prayer and welcome remarks from Hon. Anthony Mesam G. Brazil, followed
by a short message emphasizing the importance of strong school-home partnerships. The induction was
led by Hon. Felix A. Diloy, who administered the oath of office to the officers for the SPTA officers. It was
then followed by the induction of the HPTA officers led by Hon. Anthony Mesam G. Brazil. Attendees
included school administrators, faculty, parents, and visitors all showing their support and commitment to
active parental involvement in education. It was then followed by a turn over speech of the former SPTA
President Mr. Edwin Diaz, and the response from the newly inducted SPTA President Mr. Hundzel Sonon.
The event concluded with a message of gratitude and encouragement for a productive and cooperative
school year ahead by Dr. Marcel Shellen M. Cordeta, school head of Barugo II Central School.
IV. Challenges Encountered
Some parents were not able to attend due to conflict of schedules.
Limited time for preparation & minor technical issues.
VI. Recommendations for Future Implementation
Schedule regular meetings with SPTA and HPTA officers to ensure continuous engagement.
Provide capacity-building training or seminars for parent leaders.
Foster open communication channels between the school and parents.
Encourage collaborative projects aligned with the school improvement plan.
