Task 2 : All university students should participate in voluntary activities to support
their local communities. To what degree do you support or oppose this idea ?
Nowadays, volunteering has become a hot topic among the public and more and
more popular than before. Many people believe that students or each person should
join in voluntary activities to provide benefits for society . From my point of view, I
agree with the point.
It is undeniable that volunteering for students or young people has many
advantages for participants. Firstly, it provides us many skills in life such as
community skill, unity, or soft skills,... Because when we join volunteers , we must
unite with other people and build a big team to do it. Due to that , these skills have
been improved more than ever. Additionally, when we help everyone , we feel more
happy and significant in life and help us reduce stress , and positive thought.
Besides, participants also have a good school report with many certifications
provided by organizations . That shows participants have a good attitude, help other
people , know care society and have mutual support . Thanks to it , the recruiter can
rate us more objectively. Not only that , volunteering can improve health risks like
depression , fatigue, and more because we can focus on positive thought instead of
personal pressure. In general , participating volunteers can bring many important
benefits to participants.
On the other hand, volunteering also has many interests in communities . When
talking about this, it is impossible not to mention improving the quality of life . These
activities help provide clean water, clothes , houses and cereal for disadvantaged
people. Especially, it can contribute to reducing poverty , homeless and improving the
condition of many people. It also boosts education such as provide to scholarship,
finance books and open free classes help increase knowledge for poverty condition.
Finally , volunteering can bring everyone together and spread love to society.
It is correct to assume that volunteering has many benefits for life, especially in
students and many schools should also organise many voluntary activities for
society.
