Step 2: Read, complete and speak!


In this step, you will complete and read two texts:

● Text 1: Living in a city and living in a town.

● Text 2: I’ll Be Strong.

Comparative Adjectives

For a good recording have in mind:


● Find a quiet place.
● When you speak, do it slowly and clearly so everyone can
understand you, and use a natural, confident tone as if you're
talking to a friend.
● Make sure to practice several times before you record, so you feel
more comfortable.
● Always listen to your recording before uploading it to check if it
sounds good.
● You can use tools like Vocaroo or your phone’s recorder to record
your voice.

Text 1: Living in a city or living in a town?


Fill in the blanks with the correct comparative word:
Hello, my name is ______. I’m from ________ and live in _________.
Living in a city will usually be_______ (big) than living in a town or rural
area. In a city, there will be many people and more places to visit, like
shops and restaurants. However, the air in the city is often going to be
__________ (bad) than in the countryside. I think living in a town will

● Format: Interview recorded on video.

● Video Duration: Minimum 2 minutes – Maximum 5 minutes.

Each student must choose one (1) topic from the list below.

● Jobs in the future

● Cities in the future

● Relationships in the future

● My future travels and adventures

● My dream life in 10 years

Interview Guiding Questions


Use these sample questions to help you guide your script.
All answers must be in the future tense:

● Where will you live in 10 years?

● What job will you have?

● What will daily life be like?

● What will relationships be in the future?

● What places will you visit?

● What will you be able to do that you can’t do now?

● What things will you enjoy the most?

● What things you won’t do?

● How do you think cities will be like in the future?

● How do you think relationships will be like in the future? (family,

labor, social…)

● How do you think jobs will be like in the future?

● Add more questions that you consider will help you during your

interview.
Final Recommendations

● Speak clearly and at a slow pace.

● Use the future tense (will / won’t) correctly.

● Incorporate modal verbs (will be able to, might, could) appropriately.

● Use comparatives to enrich your answers.

● Show confidence, creativity, and ownership of the content.

● Make sure to include visual elements in your video (drawings,

images, objects, background setting) – this is a mandatory


requirement.
Activity Requirements:

● In this activity, it is not allowed to use artificial intelligence to

generate or modify voice recordings.

● The voice must be authentic and belong to the student completing

the task.

● If any irregularity or doubt arises regarding the authenticity of the

voice, a synchronous meeting with the tutor will be required to


verify that the recording truly belongs to the student.

● Your commitment to academic honesty is essential to ensure a

transparent and fair learning process.
