Shambhavi: Good morning PPS,

Today’s assembly will be conducted by the students of Class 8D, Vistula.
Our class is named after the longest river in Poland, “Vistula”, which
symbolizes resilience, continuity, and unity as it flows through major
cities such as Poland, Belarus, and Ukraine and plays a vital role in
trade, agriculture, and national defense and shapes the cultural heart
of these nations.

Anish: The Preamble is a powerful expression of our nation’s ideals—it
serves as a reminder of our duties, responsibilities, and the values we
uphold as proud citizens of this great nation. I now invite Ranveer to
recite the Preamble to the Constitution of India.
(AFTER THE PREAMBLE)
Anish: Thank you, Ranveer. Let us now reflect on the “Thought of the
day”, a short yet powerful message that can shape our mindset,
influence our actions, and bring clarity to our daily choices.
I now call upon Kanav to share today’s thought and inspire us all.
(AFTER THE THOUGHT)

Shambhavi: Let us now sit back, relax, and enjoy the skit presented by
the students of our class.
SCENE 1: The Beautiful Earth (beginning)
Narrator: There was once a time when nature thrived in perfect
balance.
Clean rivers, green trees, and quiet skies—everything lived in harmony.
Seven friends visited a nearby park, just to take it all in.
Friend 1: It feels so peaceful here. The air smells fresh.
Friend 2: Just sitting under these trees makes me feel alive.
Friend 3: We should come here more often. It’s like nature is healing us.
Scene 2: Destruction and Pollution
Narrator: But peace can be short-lived when care turns to carelessness.
While the friends were enjoying the beauty, others entered with a
different mindset—one of rush, noise, and neglect.

Without thinking twice, they began to throw trash, break branches, and
leave damage behind.
Polluter 1: Ugh, no dustbin here? Just toss it in the river.
Polluter 2: These trees block the view. Let’s clear a few.

Friend 4: Stop! What are you doing? This place was clean just a minute
ago!
Friend 5: Can’t you see you're polluting the water?
Friend 6: One careless act ruins so much.
Friend 7: This is wrong. We can’t just let it happen.

Scene 3: The Realization

Narrator: The damage was done.
The trees were gone. The river was polluted. And the air felt heavier
than ever before.
But nature doesn’t stay silent forever. It speaks back—in heatwaves,
illness, and broken balance.

Friend 1: I can't believe how quickly everything changed. It used to feel

so fresh here. Now... just heat and stink.
Friend 2: We saw it happening. And still, we didn’t stop it in time.
Friend 3: Blaming others won’t help now. If we care, we act. That's it.
Friend 4: Let’s clean this up. No one else will. It’s our space too.

[Friends begin picking up trash, straightening trees, cleaning river
cloth. The stage slowly starts to look cleaner.]

Friend 5: This isn’t just about fixing a park. It’s about fixing a mindset.
Friend 6: We’re not doing this for show. We're doing it because it
matters.
Friend 7: If everyone did even a little, imagine how much we could
change.

[Suddenly, a Polluter stumbles in, coughing and dizzy. He/she

collapses. The friends rush to help.]
Friend 5: Hey! Are you okay? He’s burning up… I think it’s heatstroke.
Friend 6: Quick, help me lift him—we need to get him to the clinic.
[They escort the student off stage. Brief pause.]

[Moments later, the same Polluter returns slowly, holding a bottle of

water, looking weak but moved.]

Narrator: Sometimes it takes a personal loss to see the bigger picture.

And sometimes, it’s pain that opens the door to change.

Polluter 1: I didn’t understand… until it hit me.
The heat, the choking air... it’s real.
I’m sorry for what I did. And thank you—for not turning away.
Friend 7: It's not about perfect people. It's about people willing to
change.
You’re here. That’s what matters.
Friend 1: Let’s keep going. One tree, one voice, one effort at a time.

Narrator (Closing):
The Earth doesn’t need superheroes.
It needs humans who care, act, and refuse to give up.
Even one voice can echo into change.

(AFTER THE PRESENTATION)

Shambhavi: What a thoughtful and powerful performance we just

witnessed, truly a reminder of how our actions shape the world around
us.
Now, I would like to invite our respected Principal, Mr. Dinesh Bandila,
a true guide and source of inspiration, to address the assembly and
share his words of wisdom with us.

us as one school community.

week ahead be filled with learning, positivity, and purpose.
