Science and Math Month Celebration 2025

Theme: “Towards a Shared Vision: Exploring the Future for a Better Tomorrow”
Abcdef Elementary School

The Aslum Elementary School successfully conducted its Science and Math
Month Celebration 2025 during the entire month of September 2025, with the
theme “Towards a Shared Vision: Exploring the Future for a Better Tomorrow.” The
month-long celebration aimed to highlight the importance of Science and
Mathematics in shaping the minds of young learners, developing their critical thinking
skills, and preparing them to become problem-solvers and innovators for the future.

The event was formally opened with an Opening Program that featured an
inspiring welcome message, the presentation of the theme, and the official launching
of various contests and activities. Pupils, teachers, and parents showed their
excitement as the school began its lineup of engaging and educational activities.

Throughout the month, a series of competitions were held to showcase the

knowledge, skills, and creativity of pupils. These included the Science and Math
Quiz Bees for Grades 3–6, which tested the learners’ mastery of fundamental
concepts. The Poster-Making Contest and Scrap Art Contest gave pupils the
opportunity to express their creativity while incorporating scientific and mathematical
ideas. The Sci-Dama: Water & Power Patrol enhanced logical thinking and
strategy-building, while the Science Debate sharpened communication and
reasoning skills among participants.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the Science Investigatory

Projects (SIP) and the Science Fair and Exhibit, where learners presented
innovative ideas and simple experiments that reflected their curiosity, creativity, and
application of scientific processes. These activities encouraged independent and
collaborative research among pupils, fostering a deeper understanding of how Science
and Math concepts are applied in real life.

Teachers served as facilitators and guides, while invited judges evaluated the
performances and outputs of the participants. Parents and community members also
showed their support by attending and appreciating the learners’ exhibits and
outputs.

At the conclusion of the celebration, winners of the various competitions were

recognized and awarded certificates and tokens during the Closing Program. The
