Different voices:

1. Players mix up the voice

cards and place them face

down in a pile. Players mix

up the sentence cards and

place them face down in a

different pile.

2. Player 1 draws a card

from both piles and reads
the

sentence out loud using the

voice that shows the feeling

on the other card.

3. If Player 1 uses the

correct voice, he or she
keeps the

cards. If Player 1 does not

Crazy Sight Words

1. Players mix up the cards

and put them face down in
a pile.

One player deals an equal

number of cards to each
player.

Each player puts their cards

face down in a pile.

2. Player 1 flips over the

top card from his or her
pile, places

it face up in the middle of

the table, and reads it
aloud.

3. If Player 1 correctly
reads the word, the other
players give

a thumbs-up and then the

next takes a turn. If Player
1 does

not correctly read the word,

he or she takes all the cards

from the middle of the

table and adds them to the
bottom

of his or her pile.

4. When a “crazy” card is

played, the student who
played

it takes all the cards from

the middle of the table and
adds

them to the bottom of his or

her pile.

5.The game ends when one

player doesn’t have any
cards.
