A very warm and cheerful morning to one and all present here!
Today, we gather not just for a celebration, but for a cause — a cause that safeguards dignity, respect, and
the true spirit of student life. As we step into Anti-Ragging Week, let us pledge to create a campus filled
with friendship, equality, and mutual respect.
Calling the Dignitaries on the Dias
To begin our program, I request our distinguished dignitaries to kindly take their seats on the dias.

Invocation Song
Let us begin with a prayer, for every event shines brighter when we seek the blessings of the Almighty.
I now invite Shravana from the MBA Department to lead us with the invocation song.

Welcoming Chief Guest & Chairman
It is my privilege to extend a heartfelt welcome to our Chief Guest, Smt. Bhagyalakshmi Molagi ma’am,
whose life and work stand as a testament to service, education, and social leadership.
I also extend a warm and respectful welcome to our beloved Regional Director, Dr. Shubhangi D. C.,
VTU CPGS, whose visionary leadership continues to inspire both faculty and students alike.
And, I also welcome the Chairman of the Anti-Ragging Committee, Dr. Shambulinggappa sir, whose
dedication ensures that our campus remains a safe and respectful environment for all.
Watering of the Plant
As a symbol of growth and nurturing relationships, we now proceed with the watering of the plant.
May I request our dignitaries to please come forward for this symbolic gesture, signifying that just as a
plant grows with care, so does a community with respect.
Before we hear from our Chief Guest, it is my honor to present a brief introduction.
Smt. Bhagyalakshmi Mo lagi Ma’am is a highly respected educationist and social leader. She is a Post
Graduate from Mysore University and has served as the Principal of AWTC for an impressive 16 years.
She is actively involved in several district-level committees in Gulbarga and serves as the Vice-Chairman
of the Red Cross Society, Gulbarga. She is also a member of the Management Committee of the State
Home for Women, and of Jana Sikhshana Samsthaana (JSS).
On an international level, she is associated with the United Religions Initiative Organization (URI). Her
contributions have been recognized with the prestigious Kittur Rani Chennamma State Award in 2023.
She is also an active member of the PCNDT Committee, Gulbarga.
Ma’am’s unwavering dedication to education, women empowerment, and social welfare is truly inspiring.

To make this Anti - Ragging week more interactive, we have lined up different competitions for
students, running from today till 18th August 2025. Here’s the list of events along with their
coordinators:
1. Logo Designing Competition – Coordinator: Dr. Shilpa Kodli
2. Poster Making Competition – Coordinator: Prof. Maneeth P. D.
3. Essay Writing (Kannada) Competition – Coordinator: Prof. Ambadas
4. Essay Writing (English) Competition – Coordinator: Dr. K. Sivaramana Gouda
5. Slogan Competition – Coordinator: Dr. Bharati S. Pochal
I encourage all students to participate actively, showcase your creativity, and contribute to the
message of a ragging-free campus. I request students to kindly approach the respective
coordinators for participation and further details
