TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM 2.2 HDi 4x2
VX15OCH
General information
The TPMS receives radio signals from TPMS sensors located in each wheel. The TPMS monitors the tyre pressures in all road wheels while the vehicle is moving or
stationary.
Tyre pressures
The manufacturer's recommended tyre pressures can be found on a label attached to the driver's B pillar.
Technical data

Do not lubricate bolts.
15" steel wheels = 160 Nm
16" steel wheels = 180 Nm
After tightening slacken off 360°.
Retighten to specified torque
Valve nut 8 Nm
System operation
If one or more of the tyres has suffered a loss of pressure the following will occur:The TPMS warning lamp will illuminate [Link] audible signal will be emitted.A
warning message may be displayed fig1.2.
The TPMS warning lamp will flash and then remain illuminated to indicate a system fault or missing TPMS sensor fig1.1. The service warning lamp will illuminate
fig1.3. A warning message may be displayed fig1.2.

Tyre changing
Tyre removal
Unscrew valve core from valve to deflate tyre.
When using a tyre unseating tool, press off the tyre 180° away from the valve first.
Ensure tyre unseating tool is not used in area fig2.1.
Ensure tyre removal tool is approximately 30 cm from the valve fig2.2.
Ensure TPMS sensor is not damaged by tyre bead.
A tyre lever should only be applied approximately 10 cm away from the valve fig2.3.
Pull off inner tyre bead from wheel rim starting in valve area first.
