Class 9 Half-Yearly Exam Preparation Timetable

This is a 21-day preparation timetable for Class 9 Half-Yearly Exams (Sept 15). It covers all major
NCERT subjects: Mathematics, Science, Social Science, English, and Hindi. Follow daily to
complete syllabus + revision before exams.

■ Week 1 (Aug 25–31): Learning & First Revision


- Focus on covering all chapters quickly but thoroughly. - Morning sessions: Science or Maths. -
Evening sessions: Social Science + Maths. - Night: English/Hindi literature & grammar practice.

■ Week 2 (Sep 1–7): Deep Practice & Second Revision


- Revise all chapters again. - Practice NCERT questions daily (Maths, Science numericals). - Social
Science: Revise maps, keywords, timelines. - English: Writing practice + grammar exercises.

■ Week 3 (Sep 8–14): Final Revision + Mock Tests


- Solve past year papers / mock tests daily. - Focus only on weak areas & difficult topics. - Revise
formulas, diagrams, maps daily. - By Sep 14, complete at least 2 full syllabus revisions.

■ Daily Timetable
■ Weekdays (Mon–Fri) - 5:00–6:30 AM → Science/Maths revision - 4:30–6:00 PM → Social
Science - 7:00–9:00 PM → Maths practice / Science numericals - 9:15–9:45 PM → English/Hindi
reading + grammar ■ Weekends (Sat–Sun) - 8:00–10:00 AM → Maths (2 chapters) - 10:30–12:30
PM → Science (Physics one day, Chem/Bio next) - 3:00–5:00 PM → Social Science
(History/Geography) - 6:00–7:00 PM → English/Hindi Literature + Grammar - 8:00–9:30 PM →
Mock test / Weekly revision

■ Subject-wise Strategy
- Mathematics: Practice NCERT examples + exercises, revise formulas daily. - Science: Physics
(formulas, derivations), Chemistry (definitions, experiments), Biology (diagrams). - Social Science:
Learn keywords, maps, timelines, definitions. - English: Read textbook Q/Ans, practice grammar,
writing formats. - Hindi: Revise chapters, meanings, grammar rules.

■ Tips & Tricks


- Use Pomodoro (25+5) for focus. - Revise every night before sleeping. - Prioritize NCERT over
reference books. - Stay healthy: 7 hrs sleep, short breaks.
