Online applications are invited with effect ftom 2409 2025 (from 4:00 PM) to 22.70 2025
(up to 4:00 PM) from Indian Nationals having permanent residence in Tripura for selection to the
post of "Graduate Teacher (For Class IX-X)" through "selection Test for Graduate Teacher (STGT)
- 2025" under Secondary Education Directorate, Education fschool) Department, Government of
Tripura. All posts are temporary. Vacancy position is as follows:

(iii) Reseruation for Women: There will be 330/o horizontal reservation in the reserved category and
330/0 general reservation in the un-reserved category for women pursuant to CA(P&T)

The number of vacant posts may increase or decrease following requisition of the concerned
department.

1. EssentialMinimumOualificationt
{al Graduate/Post Graduate from recognized University with at least 5070 marks in either
Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalence) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from
National Council for Teacher Education recognised institution.
OR
(bl Graduate/Post Graduate from recognized University with at least 450lo marks in either
Graduation or Post Graduation [or its equivalence) and Bachelor of Education (B.EdJ from
National Council for Teacher Education recognised institution { in accordance with the
National Council for Teacher Education [Form of application for recognition, the time limit
of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of
teacher education programmes and permission to start new course or training) Regulations,
2002 notified on 73,71..2002 and National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition
Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007].

(c) 4-Years degree of B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed from National Council for Teacher Education recognised
institution.
 NB: Relaxation up to syo in the qualifying marks will be allowed to the-xandidates
belonging to SC/ST /PH category.

1. Age : Up to 40 years as on 29.08.2025. Upperagelimitis relaxable by5 years for SC/ST/PH

and Government Servant provided that government employees belonging to SC/ST/PH
category will not get relaxation over and above general relaxation of 5 years available to
them. Upper age limit is also relaxable for Ex-Serviceman (ESM) as per norms.
2. Payt Rs.20,475/-(revisedJ fixed per month being 75 % ofbasic pay (Level-g) ofTripura state
pay matrix 2018.
3. Eouivalencv of a Degree: Equivalency of a Degree (Graduation/Post Graduate etc] will be
ascertained by Equivalence Committee formed by the Education (School] Department for
example whether or not M,Sc, Nuclear Physics is equivalent to M.Sc. Physics will be
determined by Equivalence Committee. Candidates claiming equivalency of degree will be
allowed provisionally to appear at the "Selection Test for Graduate Teacher- 2025". Such
candidate must apply to the Board by 22'd October, 2025 along with self-attested
photocopy of the Mark sheet of the degree for which the candidate is claiming
equivalency. Application thus received will be forwarded to the Equivalence Committee
for decision and decision ofequivalent committee will be final.
Ifa candidate applied for STGT and secures a mark enough to be recommended
for recruitment, but the Equivalence Committee has given decision that she/he does
not have an equivalent degree required for the post for which he/she applied, his/ her
candidature will be reiected without further notilication and his / her name will not be
recommended for to the concerned department for recruitment.

While applying online the candidate must ensure that she/he understands and fulfils the
norms of eligibility.Before applying online please ensure to have the following for uploading:

> Scanned image of latest passport size photograph of candidate (ln IPG/IPEG format only,
Sizer up to 100 KBJ.
> Scanned image of tull signature ofcandidate (ln IPG/|PEG format only, sizer up to 60 KB).

Notes:
(al It must be ensured that image of the photograph and full signature of the candidate for
uploading must be clear or else your candidature will be summarily cancelled without
further notification,
[b) Admit Card will not be generated if any irrelevancy is noticed in image of the photograph
and full signature ofthe candidate.
(c) Uploading of any irrelevant photograph/signature will invite cancellation of candidature
and appropriate action.
(d) online Application can be submitted by logging on to the official website of Teachers'

[e) Since provision of pre-test scrutiny of mark-sheets/certificates/documents is not there, a
candidate needs to satis$/ herself/himself that every input in the online application is
correct as Der criteria and terms and conditions ofthe test.

Follow the steps given below:
(aJ Log on to TRBT'S official website www.trb.tripura.coLitr and click on Apply 0nline'link. You
will be directed to the registration page.
(b) Candidates are to enter the required information such as name, DOB, email ID, Phone
Number etc., and get themselves registered. Note down the Registration Number for future
reference.
(cJ For registration, e-mailID must be unique. Once registered, login with Registration
Number/E-mail ID and password as set by you. For security reason do not share the
password with others.
[dJ If a candidate has registered with TRBT in any of the examination, then later fresh
registration will not be required. Login with USER ID and Password. However, if there is
any wrong entry, fresh registration can be done by using another e-mail ID ofthe applicant.
(e) After login update your profile by entering all relevant information as per the online
application form correctly.
[D Upload clear image of your recent passport size photograph (as enumerated in 'How to
apply' section in the registration page) and full signature. The image of photograph must be
clear enough so that the applicant can be recognised by seeing the photograph. The image of
full signature must also be clear and legible. Any discrepancy in image ofphotograph and full
signature will Iead to rejection of the online application. Uploading of any unwanted
photograph will be viewed seriously and strict action will be taken against them who
indulge in such activity.
GJ Candidate can update certain information given in the profile from edit/update profile link
before submission of online application. Online application once submitted the link will be
disabled. No edit in profile can be done afterwards.
(h) Candidate can apply for "Selection Test for Graduate Teacher (STGT) - 20ZS,,from 'Apply
0nline' link of candidate's homepage.
[i) In candidate's homepage, for craduate Teacher (tX-X] please click on "Apply Online,, link
with respect to "Selection Test for craduate Teacher (STGT) - ZOZS". Select eligibility
criteria from drop down list, All particulars regarding academic and professional
qualifications must be entered correctly.
0) Submit the form after entering all the information conectly. Finalize the application if all
information is entered correctly. If any rectification is required click on .,Edit Application,,
link in candidate's homepage. 0nce finalised the application form can no more be edited. So
before finalization make sure that all information entered are correct
[k) Make payment from the link provided in the home page of applicant. payment can be done
through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking facility of any leading bank.
Information/PIN/Password etc., of Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Internet Banking must not be
shared with others for making payment and TRBT wilt not be responsible for any fraudulent
transaction due to such information sharing.
0) Payment of fee must be paid through the link provided in applicant,s home page and by no
other means.
(m) After successful payment print the Acknowledgement page and preserve it for future
reference,

 [n) Please take a printout of payment slip available after making payment for future reference.
Without payment slip no payment related query/ complaintwill be entertained.
(oJ Candidates having their mark in CGPA, click on "check if CGPA is applicable" and enter exact
equivalent percent of CGPA, Convert CGPA in exact equivalent percentage (as per formula
given by the Universify/ Board) up to two decimal points and enter it in the appropriate box
in the online application form. For example, if the equivalent percentage of CGPA up to 2
decimal point is "59.99" enter "59.99" not "60". Candidate whose mark is given in percentage
in the marksheet can directly write the percentage of marks after clicking on "check if CGPA
is applicable".
(pJ In case candidates are applying with Graduation as academic qualification and do not
possess Post Graduation, please leave the qualification detail in the online application
format with respect to Post Graduation.
(q) Please read the "How to apply" Section in the registration page before proceeding for
registration.
[r) "Forgot Password" link can be used to reset password in case the candidate forgets her/his
' password.
(sl candidates can choose any of the options out of (1) Social Science[History, Geography,
Political Science and Economicsl, [2) Biological Science lzoology, Botany and Physiology)
(3) Physical Science (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) from the dropdown box. Option
once chosen cannot be changed.
Candidate must be very careful regarding uploading of photographs and siSnature.
Application Acknowledgement and Admit Card will not be generated if any irrelevancy is
noticed in image ofsignature and photograph ofcandidate.

6. No obiection Certificate: Those who are employed must submit at the time of certificate
verification "No Objection Certificate" (N0C] issued by the competent Authority of the Department/
Agency where he/she is currently employed. It will be presumed that all such candidates who apply
for the post has obtained N0C from the competent authority stating that the Department/Agency has
no objection ifhe / she join the post applied for.

 Those who get employed after submission of online application must also submit NOC issued
by competent authority. Candidature of a candidate will be reiected if he/she fails to produce NOC.
Those who are un-able to submit N0C will be summarily rejected from the selection process
7. Selection Method: The selection will be done on the basis ofMark obtained in "Selection Test
for Graduate Teachers-2025" subiect to verification of documents/certificates and correctness of
information given by the candidates in the online application form. Candidates will be responsible
for correctness of all particulars as furnished in the online application form. In case of any
subsequent detection of false or defective information or suppression of facts, even after selection /
appointment, his/ her candidature will be summarily rejected without further notification.
Candidature of Candidates, who submit online application, disregarding the eligibility/minimum
educational qualification/other criteria/ terms and conditions etc as laid down in this notification
and in the "Prospectus cum Instructions: Selection Test for Graduate Teacher ISTGT) 2025", will be
rejected. Candidates must fulfil all eligibility criteria / terms and conditions of this notification and
"Prospectus cum Instructions: Selection Test for Graduate Teacher (STGT) 2025". Candidates will be
invited for certificate verification depending on the number of post as requisitioned by the
concerned department.
when two or more candidates obtain same marks, relative position would be judged in terms
of seniority of date ofbirth ofthe candidates. In case date of birth is same then seniority ofthe date
of obtaining requisite academic qualification for appearing in the said examination would be judged.
Senior candidate will be given preference, In final case, if required; the percentage of marks in the
qualirying examination (academic) will be taken into consideration and preference will be given
whose percentage ofmarks is higher.
8. Certificate Verification: Number of Candidates invited for certificate verification will be
more than the actual number of posts requisitioned by concerned department, Invitation for
certificate verification will be from amongst the candidate who obtains at least cut off mark which is
500/o [75 out of 150) for unreserved category candidate and 45o/o (68 out of 150) for sc/sT/PH
category candidates. Candidates who remain absent on the scheduled date ofcertificate verification,
his/her candidature will be summarily rejected without further notification. Candidates must have
Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate [PRTC). So, all candidates invited for certificate
verification may not be recommended for recruitment as the recommendation will be based on the
actual number of vacant posts. Mark obtained in the test will be the only criteria for preparation of
merit list, No candidate will be recommended for recruitment who obtains below cut off mark.
Securing minimum mark (75 or 68 as applicable) or more mark and inviting a candidate for
scrutiny of documents will not entitle him/her any right for selection to the post for
recruitment, At the time of scrutiny of documents a candidate must bring original copies of all
mark sheets of academic and professional qualification, certificates (if anyl of academic and
professional qualification, PRTC, Admit card of matriculation as proof of age, Caste certificate (if
any], PH certificate (if any), Certificate of Ex-Serviceman (if anyl and "Application
Acknowledgement" of online application, Admit card of STGT along with two set of self-attested
photocopies of all these documents. Candidates are required to produce one photo bearing identity
card in original like, AADHAAR Card / PAN Card / Passport /EPIC (Voter I Card) at the time of
scrutiny ofdocuments
9. Examination Fee:The test fees for UR category applicant is Rs. 300/ (Rupees three
hundred onlyJ and for reserved category (SC/ST/PH) applicant is Rs. 200/ (Rupees two hundred
onlyl. Fees once deposited will not be refunded or adjusted for any other test in future. Candidates
are to deposit test fees online (using debit or credit card & internet banking only). No other mode of
payment will be accepted, Bank charges may apply.
Note: In case a candidate pays less than the actual amount of fees due to selection of wrong
category or otherwise, her/his candidature will be treated as cancelled even if she/he gets pass

scheduled date as mentioned in this notification.
10. Physicallv Handicapped (PH) candidates: Candidates having disability such as Blind or
Low Vision (Partially Blind), Partially Deafor Hard of Hearing and Locomotors Disability [0rtho) can
only apply under PH category, The percentage ofdisability must be 40010 or above.
IMPORTANTI
Candidates are to ensure their eligibility for the post. Candidates applying for a post should
ensure that they fulfil all eligibility conditions for selection to the post. Selection is subject to
verification of certificates and correctness of information given by the candidates in the online
application form. Candidates will be responsible for correctness of all particulars as furnished in the
online application form, Their admission to all the stages of the selection process will be purely
provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions Mere issue of Application
Acknowledgement or Admit Card to a candidate will not imply that his/ her candidature has been
finally cleared by the Board. Similarly getting invitation for certificate verification will not entitle a
candidate any right for selection to the post for recruitment. In case of any subsequent detection of
false or defective information or suppression of facts, even after selection / appointment, his/ her
Gcandidature will be summarily rejected at any stage of the selection process without further
notification, Candidature of Candidates, who submit online application, disregarding the

2025", will be reiected at any stage of the selection process without further notification. Candidates
must fulfil all eligibitity criteria /terms and conditions of this notification and prospectus cum
instructions, TRBT'S functions are limited up to selection of candidates for a particular post and
recommend it to the concerned department. The recruitment will be done by the department and
TRBT shall not be held responsible for recruitment.
Candidates must be in possession of minimum required qualification and mark sheet[s)/
certiRcate of the academic and professional qualification as on the last date of submission of
application as mentioned in this notice. Scheduled Caste(SC) and Scheduled Tribe(ST) certificate
issued by competent authority ofTripura will only be valid.
The candidates must note that the Teachers' Training Degree obtained by them is from the
lnstitution recognised by National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE). However, if any dispute is
noticed/reported at any stage regarding the recognition status of the institution from where the
candidate obtained the Teachers' Training Degree or ifit is found that a candidate does not fulfil any
of the eligibility and recruited on the basis of false/forged/fake certificate/qualification/inadvertent
error, the Board will recommend the concerned authority to take appropriate action against such
candidate.
The Syllabus ofthe test is available in the website ofTRBT.
Assessment and Evaluation ofthe answer scripts (OMR Sheets) done by the Board shall
be final and shall not be open to scrutiny by any external person/authority.
