I am Tasmia Rahman, and I am applying for the MBA program at your esteemed institution to

further develop my business acumen, leadership abilities, and understanding of global markets.

Growing up in a family that valued education and a global outlook, I was always encouraged to

think beyond borders. Their support and encouragement to pursue an international career in

business have been one of the key influences on my decision to apply to the KABS MBA

program.

I completed my Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in 2020 with a GPA of 2.66 out of

4.00, and my Master's degree in 2022 with a GPA of 3.58 out of 4.00 at East Delta University.

Through these academic programs, I developed a robust understanding of core business

principles, including management, marketing, financial analysis, and trade policies. While my

studies provided me with a solid theoretical foundation, I quickly realized that to truly thrive in

the ever-evolving global business environment, I needed to immerse myself in an internationally

focused, hands-on education. This led me to apply for the MBA program at your university,

which I believe will offer the global perspective, industry connections, and practical exposure I

need to achieve my professional goals.

In addition to my academic qualifications, I have sought practical experience to complement my

studies. I interned at National Credit and Commerce Bank PLC, one of Bangladesh’s leading

financial institutions, where I gained first-hand experience in financial services, banking

operations, and market analysis. During my time there, I was involved in various projects that

honed my ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-

functional teams. This experience solidified my interest in international business and made me

keen to develop a deeper understanding of cross-border investments, market expansion, and trade

policies, particularly in the context of the fast-evolving economies of Asia.

Moreover, I have always believed in continuous personal and professional development. As part

of my interest in technology and innovation, I pursued a certification in Creative Graphic Design

from BEACON IT and explored freelancing. This experience taught me the importance of

creativity, adaptability, and managing multiple projects at once—skills I consider vital in today’s

dynamic business environment.

In conclusion, I am confident that my academic background, professional experience, and career

aspirations make me a strong candidate for this MBA program. I look forward to the opportunity

to enhance my skills, learn from distinguished faculty and peers, and make meaningful

contributions to the business world.
