Subject Analysis Report / Teacher Metrics – Help Guide

What This Report Shows:

This report displays a bar graph that visualizes the overall performance in each subject based on the
following components:

 Instant Feedback (IF) Performance

 Quiz Performance
 Assessment Performance (includes both Class Tests and Main Assessments)

Each component is calculated per test. The final Subject Performance is the average of all individual test
performances under that subject.

Test-wise Performance Calculation

Instant Feedback (IF):

 Each IF is a single concept check question.

 Treated as a separate test.

Quiz:

 Each quiz can have up to 20 questions.

 Entire quiz is treated as one test.

Assessment:

 Includes both Class Tests and Main Exams (e.g., Mid Term, Quarterly).
 Each assessment performance (Class test & Main Assessment) is calculated as follows
Subject Performance:

 The average of all IF, Quiz and Assessment performances for that subject.

Sample Calculation

Subject: Mathematics
Total Students in Class: 30
2. Participation & Proficiency Report – Help Guide
This report provides a comprehensive overview of student engagement and performance in academic assessments conducted
through:

 Instant Feedback (IF) – spontaneous, single-question concept checks by the teacher.

 Quizzes – planned assessments with multiple questions.

Each bar in the report is a stacked visualization, breaking down the following categories as percentages:

 🟩 Participated – Students who attempted the test.

 ✅ Correct – Students who gave the correct response.
 ❌ Incorrect – Students who attempted but gave the wrong response.
 😶 Missed – Students who were present but skipped the question.
 🚫 Absentees – Students who were absent during the test.

Calculation Logic:

Instant Feedback (IF):

Each IF is treated as one standalone test. Metrics are calculated as a percentage of the total class strength (30 students).

Quizzes:

Each quiz contains multiple questions. Each question is analysed separately, and then the average of all its question-level
metrics forms the final result for that quiz.

Final Report:

Once you have percentages for:

 Each IF test
 Each quiz (after averaging its questions)
You take the average of all tests to get the final metric percentages displayed in the report.

Sample Data:

 Total students per class: 30

 Assessments included:
o 3 Instant Feedback (IF) tests
o 2 Quizzes (with 2 and 4 questions respectively)

3. Class Academic Performance Report

What This Report Shows

This report tracks the academic performance of an entire class across major exams such as:

 Mid Term 1
 Quarterly
 Mid Term 2
 Half-Yearly
 …and other exams under the Main Exam Type category.

Calculation:

 For each subject within an exam, the system calculates:

 This is done per subject → across all students who appeared for that exam.
 For example, if 25 students wrote Science and the total marks obtained was 1,900 out of a maximum
of 2,500:

(1900/2500)×100=76%

Absent students are excluded from the calculation. Only students who attempted the subject are
considered.

9. Instant Feedback Performance (Single Test)

This report explains how performance is calculated for a single Instant Feedback (IF) test conducted in
class.

It evaluates the accuracy of student responses to a single concept-check question triggered by the teacher.

Formula:

❗ Only students present at the time of the IF are considered.

Example:

 Total Students in Class: 30

 Students Present: 28
 Correct Answers: 21

IF Performance=(21/28)×100=75%
10. Quiz Performance (Single Quiz)

This report explains how to calculate performance for one quiz, which contains multiple questions.

It evaluates how accurately students responded to all questions in a single quiz.

Formula:

❗ Absentees are excluded from the denominator.

Example:

 No. of Questions: 20
 Students Present: 25
 Total Correct Answers: 360

Total Attempts=20×25=500

Quiz Performance=(360/500)×100=72%
11. Teacher Metrics Report

This report evaluates a teacher’s instructional effectiveness per class they handle, based on:

1. Instant Feedback (IF) performance
