BOTH: Good morning, everyone! Welcome to the 10th SciMath Fair with a theme “The World
of Innovation: Exploring Science, Math, and Technology” here at Niño Jesus Science-Oriented
Montessori School, Inc.!
EMCEE 1: We are thrilled to have you with us today as we celebrate the creativity and intellect
of our students in the fields of science and mathematics.

EMCEE 1: Now, let’s get started with the exciting part of today’s event—the presentations!
Our students have put in a lot of hard work, and it’s time to see their efforts come to life.
EMCEE 2: We’re now moving on to the bright and creative minds from our Pre-Elementary
students! These young learners have been busy exploring the world of science and mathematics
through fun, interactive activities. Let’s take a closer look at what they’ve been working on!
**SCIENCE PRESENTATIONS
EMCEE 1: First up, our Pre-Elementary students have created the “Animals Interactive Game
Master Footprint”.
( In this project, they’ve used animal footprints to help us learn more about different species.
This interactive game helps them understand animals in a fun and exciting way, as they match
the right animal to its footprint. ) Let’s see how it works!*

EMCEE 2: Next, we have the “Catching Eggs” project.
(This activity challenges the children to safely "catch" eggs using their skills and knowledge.
It’s not just about fun—it’s also about learning the importance of precision, hand-eye
coordination, and science in action!)

EMCEE 2: In the **Animal Interactive Game**, our students get to play while learning about
various animals and their behaviors.
(They’ll share with us how they created an interactive experience where they match animals to
their habitats, showcasing their understanding of the animal kingdom. Let's see their exciting
take on this!)
EMCEE 1: Lastly, we have the “Make a Maze” project.
(Here, our students use their creativity and problem-solving skills to build a maze. This project
helps them understand basic concepts of geometry and the importance of planning and strategy.
Let’s take a look at their maze-building skills in action!)
**MATH PRESENTATIONS
EMCEE 2: Now, let’s move on to some math fun! Our Pre-Elementary students have
developed the “Addition Interactive Game” ,
(where they’ll demonstrate how to add numbers in a playful, engaging way. This game helps
them practice addition while having lots of fun! Let’s see how they make math come alive
through this interactive game!)
EMCEE 1: In the “Solving Addition Problem Pin Wheel”,
(our students use a pinwheel to solve simple addition problems. The rotating wheel helps them
visualize and understand how numbers add up, all while spinning their way to answers. It’s a
colorful, hands-on approach to learning addition!)
EMCEE 2: Next up, we have the “Stacking Games”, (where students use different blocks to
stack and build structures while practicing math skills. This project helps them with counting,
sequencing, and understanding basic concepts of measurement. Let’s see how high they can
stack their creations while learning math!)
EMCEE 1: In the “Comparing Numbers Interactive Game”, (our students will teach us how to
compare numbers using fun props and visuals. They'll show us how to determine which
numbers are greater or smaller, all through an exciting and interactive activity that makes
learning enjoyable!)
EMCEE 2: Finally, in the “Using Less Than, Greater Than, or Equal To” activity, our Pre-
Elementary students will show us how they understand the relationship between numbers using
symbols like >, <, and =. Through an interactive game, they will help us grasp these important
math concepts in a playful and engaging way!*

EMCEE 2: Now, let’s begin with our Science presentations from the Elementary students.
These young scientists have explored a variety of concepts and are excited to share their
findings with us.

**Grade 1 - Describing Matter**
EMCEE 1: In this project, our Grade 1 students have learned about different types of matter—
solid, liquid, and gas—and their properties. Let’s see how they describe matter in a fun and
creative way!*

**Grade 1 - Pictograph**
EMCEE 2: Grade 1 students have created a **Pictograph** to represent data visually. This
project helps us understand how to interpret information and make sense of data using pictures.

**Grade 2 - DIY Rubber Band Toy Car**
EMCEE 1: Grade 2 students have created their very own rubber band-powered toy cars. This
hands-on project shows how energy can be stored and released through the use of a rubber
band, making for a fun demonstration of motion and force.*

**Grade 2 - Division Model**
EMCEE 2: In Grade 2, students have used a **Division Model** to demonstrate how division
works. Through visual aids and practical examples, they show us how numbers can be divided
into equal parts. This model will help us understand the fundamental concept of division in a
clear and interactive way.*

**Grade 3 - DIY Hand Fan, DIY Anemometer, DIY Magnetic Swing**
EMCEE 1: In Grade 3, students have designed three exciting projects: a **DIY Hand Fan** to
demonstrate air circulation, a **DIY Anemometer** to measure wind speed, and a **DIY
Magnetic Swing** to explore the concepts of magnetism. Let’s take a look at their creative
designs and the science behind them!*

**Grade 3 - Division Model with Remainder**
EMCEE 2: Grade 3 students have taken division a step further by introducing the concept of
remainders. Their **Division Model with Remainder** shows how division works when a
number doesn’t divide perfectly. Let’s see how they’ve simplified this important math concept
for us!*

**Grade 4 - DIY Community with Magnetic Human**
EMCEE 1: Grade 4 students have worked together to create a community model. This project
explores how magnets work and how we can use them in various real-world applications. Let’s
see how these young innovators have brought their community to life!*

**Grade 4 - Group Projects: 3D Shapes Pull-Up Model, Fraction Model, Types of Angle
Model**
Grade 4 students have worked in groups to create three incredible models:
1. A **3D Shapes Pull-Up Model**, to help us better understand three-dimensional
objects. Group 1
2. A **Fraction Model**, to show how fractions can be represented and divided.
3. A **Types of Angle Model**, to demonstrate different types of angles in geometry.
These models are sure to make learning math both interactive and enjoyable!*

**Grade 4 - Math Hat**
EMCEE 1: Grade 4 students have designed a **Math Hat** that highlights important math
symbols and concepts. This project is a creative way to remember the essentials of math,
including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Let’s take a look at how math can
be both fun and fashionable!*

**Grade 5 - DIY Car Racing**
EMCEE 2: Grade 5 students have built their own cars, powered by various methods, and raced
them to demonstrate the principles of speed, friction, and engineering. Watch as they test their
creations.

**Grade 5 - Group Projects: Ratio and Proportion, Place Value Chart**
*Grade 5 students have also created two important math projects:
1. A **Ratio and Proportion** model, which demonstrates the relationships between numbers.
2. A **Place Value Chart**, to help visualize the importance of each digit in large numbers.
These hands-on projects will give us a deeper understanding of key math concepts!*
**Grade 5 - Math Hat**
EMCEE 1: In Grade 5, students have created their own **Math Hats** once again, but this
time with more complex math concepts. This hat is a visual representation of their
understanding of math principles such as ratios and proportions, as well as geometric shapes.
Let’s see how these students made math even more fun!*

**Grade 6 - DIY Basketball Game**
EMCEE 2: Our Grade 6 students have combined their creativity and understanding of
mechanics to create a **DIY Basketball Game**. This project explores the concepts of force,
motion, and teamwork. Let’s see how their designs come together for some competitive fun!*

**Grade 6 - Group Projects: Math Expert (Operations of Integers), Integers Model**
EMCEE 1: Finally, in Grade 6, we have two group projects:
1. **Math Expert (Operations of Integers)**, where students have demonstrated how to solve
problems involving positive and negative numbers.
2. An **Integers Model**, which gives us a clear visual of how integers work in various
mathematical operations. Let’s see how these students have become true math experts!*
EMCEE 1: In Grade 6, students have created their own **Math Hats** once again, but this
time with more complex math concepts. This hat is a visual representation of their
understanding of math principles such as ratios and proportions, as well as geometric shapes.
Let’s see how these students made math even more fun!*
EMCEE 2: What an incredible display of knowledge and creativity from our Elementary
