The Whispering Woods

The wind tiptoed through the trees, rustling leaves like secrets shared in hushed tones.
Beneath the canopy, shadows danced as sunlight flickered through the branches. A fox darted
silently across the forest floor, its amber eyes glinting with curiosity.

This was no ordinary woodland. Legends spoke of voices that echoed without speakers, of
trees that leaned in as if listening. Some claimed the forest was alive—not just with creatures,
but with thoughts.

Elara stood at the edge, her heart thudding like a drum. She had heard the stories, but today
she would find out for herself. With a deep breath, she stepped into the whispering woods.
