Other Documents Required (attachments):
i. Every candidate who produces a Master Degree in the
Discipline of Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering/
Graduate Degree in the Discipline of Electrical
Engineering/Electronics Engineering recognized by the
University Grants Commission will be exempted from
appearing in the examination. He shall be granted certificate
of competency in category “A & B” respectively.
ii. Every Candidate who produces three years Diploma in
Electrical Technology from a recognized Technical Institution
will be exempted from appearing in the examination
provided that he has gone through a further period of
practical training for at-least one year in suitable Electrical
practices. He shall be granted certificate of competency in
category “C”.
iii. Every candidate who has minimum qualification matric will
be granted Certificate of competency under Category ‘D’
subject to passing an examination to be conducted by the
Government of the Punjab.
iv. Electrician/wireman means any person who possesses one-
year certificate course in the trade from any
Government Vocational Institute and is granted a wireman
permit by the Regional Licensing Board.
Further, pre-requisite for granting of competency certificates license
under Category A, B, C, D and wireman permit are given below.
GRANT OF EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE IN CATEGORY-A and B.

case of category B.

GRANT OF EXEMPTION CERTIFICATE IN CATEGORY-C.
