INTERNSHIP REPORT FORMAT

The student shall prepare an Internship Report after each internship in the following
format:

1. Cover-page (Form A)
2. Certificate of Internship (duly signed and stamped) – format enclosed (Form B)
3. Summary of the Internship and Major Takeaways (also include the list of major
legislations and case laws researched upon) (Form C)
4. Annexure - Day-wise Report (Form D)

3. Responsibilities: Describe the specific tasks, projects, and responsibilities assigned to you
during the internship. Highlight any significant achievements, challenges, or experiences
encountered.

4. Legal Research and Analysis: Discuss the legal research assignments you undertook
during the internship [while writing this section, please keep in mind the Non-Disclosure
Agreement (NDA) you would have signed or any confidentiality issues communicated to you
orally]

5. Document Preparation: Detail any involvement you had in drafting legal documents such
as contracts, memos, briefs, or other relevant materials.

6. Courtroom and Client Interaction: Describe any opportunities you had to observe
courtroom proceedings or attend client meetings. Reflect on how these experiences enhanced your
understanding of legal practice and client communication.

7. Learning Outcomes: Discuss the key lessons learned during the internship, both in terms
of legal knowledge and professional skills. Reflect on how the internship contributed to your
personal and career development.

Conclusion: Summarize the overall experience and express gratitude for the opportunity to intern
at the law firm. Mention any future plans or aspirations in the legal field.
