PDF Printer Driver

The PDF printer driver enhances reproducibility of documents created using office applications
by eliminating PostScript-related problems.
When printing from an DTP application, it is recommended that you use an application that sup-
ports the pass-through method for PDF and print jobs by using APPE (you can select this option
by selecting [Settings] > [Processing Options] > [RIP Type] > [APPE] in Job Properties).

Note
• For the latest supported OS, refer to the page for the printer you use from download service in our website.
• If a print error occurs on the PDF printer driver, spool data of all pages.
• To specify the number of copies in the PDF printer driver of the Windows client, use [Copies] in the [Print]
dialog box > [Properties]. The number of copies displayed in the [Print] dialog box will become invalid.
• With a pass-through method, PDF files are printed with no data conversion applied. This prevents degradation
of output image quality due to data conversion. The settings for the PDF file are also kept.

Refer
• For printer drivers, there are restrictions. See "10 Notes and Restrictions" in 'Job Properties'.
• For information on restrictions on the PDF pass-through method, see the "readme" file supplied with the PDF
printer driver.
