MS Module COURSE TITLE: FACILITATOR: DURATION:

Basics of Arduino Basics of Electronics Aditya,Peeyusha 8+4 cycles

STAGE 1a – COURSE GOALS

UNIT DESCRIPTION
Students will be exploring Arduino, a programmable circuit board that is also known as a microcontroller.
Along with its software component, called Arduino IDE (Integrated Development Environment) where they
can write and upload the code onto the microcontroller. With this tool students will explore and develop
systems that can sense, think and reflect.
STANDARDS ADDRESSED/LEARNING ENDURING UNDERSTANDING
OBJECTIVES
SWBAT program Arduino board to understand basic Students will be exploring servo motors to create
functionality of board. various gadgets and toys.

SWBAT connect sensors and external components to form

a system.

SWBAT design and develop programs that combine and

control the system that can sense, think and reflect..

ESSENTIAL QUESTIONS
What is the Arduino and functionality of different parts of an Arduino board?
