RE: BAR COURSE PROVISIONAL ADMISSION FOR 2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR

Following your application, I am pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to Law
Development Centre (LDC) at MBARARA CAMPUS to study for a POST-GRADUATE
DIPLOMA IN LEGAL PRACTICE (BAR COURSE).

This is a provisional admission made based on the qualifications as presented by you on the online
application. This admission is subject to payment of full fees and other fees for Term 1 and
verification of your academic documents by the Academic Registrar.

Please read this admission letter carefully and note the following:

1. This is a non-residential course and it will begin on Monday 6th January 2025.
2. The fee for the entire course is Ug. Shs. 6,000,000= (Six million Uganda shillings only) which is
payable in three installments as follows:
- First installment to be paid by 22nd November 2024 is Ug. Shs. 2,800,000=
- The second installment to be paid within 14 days from the commencement of 2 nd Term is Ug. Shs.
1,600,000=
- The third installment to be paid within 14 days from the commencement of 3 rd Term is Ug. Shs
1,600,000=

NB: Failure to pay the first installment of fees by 22nd November 2024 will automatically lead to the
termination of this admission and you will not be registered
How to Pay Tuition

LDC i Visit and log in to the LDC Students’ Portal at https://student.ldc.ac.ug/,


ii Activate your STUDENT PORTAL to enroll yourself in the system for Term 1 and to generate a
fees Payment Reference Number (PRN). Please note that when accessing the system for the first
time, your User ID is your Student Number and your Password is also your Student Number. Your
student number is printed on this admission Letter.
3. Log in to the student portal and follow the system prompts until you are required to create your
new password. After creating a new password, login again with your new password, verify your

Biodata, and then enroll. At this stage, you should be able to generate a fees Payment Reference
