2. Main Examination (Mains) – Descriptive type, written.
3. Personality Test (Interview) – Verbal assessment of personality.

CSAT (GS Paper II): Comprehension, Interpersonal skills, Logical reasoning, Decision-making,
Mental ability, Basic numeracy, Data interpretation.

Optional Subject: Choose one subject from UPSC list – two papers, each 250 marks.

4. Personality Test / Interview


Marks: 275. Tests personality, communication, awareness, leadership, decision-making, and
ethics. Added to Mains marks for final merit.
5. Final Selection
Based on Mains (1750 marks) + Interview (275 marks) = 2025 marks. Prelims is qualifying only.
