Home Screen
Medication Schedule
All your daily prescriptions in one simple, visual checklist.
Clear pill images, names, timing, dosage, and safety tips:
designed to reduce confusion through visual verification and
make every dose safe, accurate, and stress-free.

Daily Quiz
Each day, users get a short, random quiz on essential medication knowledge,
like disposal rules or safety precautions. Correct answers reward points,
driving our point marginal revenue model, while also
increasing user engagement and boosting visit frequency.
Medication Schedule
Monthly Calendar
View your complete monthly medication plan in one clear, interactive calendar.
Color-coded dots under each date represent different prescriptions,
making it easy to see what to take and when without digging through daily details.

We place ads strategically throughout the app to create a steady revenue stream,
attracting partners such as hospitals, pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies,
health food brands, and fitness equipment makers.
By aligning ad partners with user health interests, we ensure promotions feel
relevant, boosting engagement while supporting our business model.
Medication Schedule

Detailed Schedule
Clicking a date in the monthly calendar reveals a detailed view of each
medication for that day, complete with high-resolution pill images, names,
dosage, timing, and caution notes. This ensures users can double-check
every detail, reducing the risk of mistakes and
making medication management more reliable.
Medication Cabinet
Personal Medication Cabinet
This feature gathers all your current prescriptions into a single,
organized view, complete with pill images, basic details, and color codes
used across the calendar. Combining visual identification with clear information,
it makes tracking and managing multiple medications simple and intuitive.

Add Medications
Add new prescriptions to your personal medication cabinet in seconds:
either by searching the name or snapping a photo. The dual input method
ensures accessibility for all users, whether they know the drug name
or just have the pill in hand.
Add Medications

Add Medication With Name

Quickly find and add medications by typing just a few letters of their name.
Add Medications

Add Medication With Photo

Snap photos of both sides of a pill, and our pre-trained AI system identifies it
by matching type, form, shape, and imprint details. Pre-entry of basic info
and shape-based guides ensures higher accuracy, and when you select a shape,
dotted outlines appear to match it, making photo-taking easier and more precise.
Family Sync

Manage Family Members

Add and manage family members to keep track of their medication status
at a glance. Profiles display each person’s current prescriptions,
allowing you to actively manage elderly parents’ medication routines
and ensure they stay on track. The number of members you can add
depends on your membership tier.
Why Now? 1 | Rapid Growth
in the Elderly Population
According to the WHO, as of 2024 there are approximately 1.1 billion people worldwide
aged 60 and over. This number is projected to rise to 1.4 billion by 2030 and 2.1 billion
by 2050, marking an unprecedented rate of growth.

Sources: OECD Health Statistics 2023, OECD Historical Population Data and Projections (1950-2060) database.
Why Now? 2 | Complications in Prescription
for the Elderly
Many elderly patients receive prescriptions from multiple medical departments,
resulting in a large number of medications and complicated dosing schedules.
This often leads to confusion between drugs with similar names or appearances,
and in some cases, double dosing.

3 | Warnings from IGOs

“Together, costs from avoidable admissions due to
medication-related events and added length of stay due to
preventable hospital-acquired medication-related harms total
over USD 54 billion in OECD countries.”

Competition Companies
⦁ MedSnap: targeted at pharmacies
⦁ Drugs.com Pill Identifier: doesn’t offer scans
⦁ Google Lens+WebMD: not specialized.
→ How we differ: Integration of disposal education+gamification (scanning for
points)+multi-format (Oriental medicine, other types of medicine other than pills)

Drug Disposal Initiatives

⦁ DEA Take Back Program (US): No application, little tech used,
⦁ Safe Medication Disposal (CVS/Walgreens): little tech used, pharmacy-dependent (would not
fit countries other than the US that have no pharmacy conglomerate)
⦁ Local Government Recycling Apps (Korea’s 폐의약품 처리 지침): paper-based, inaccessible
→ How we differ: Use of tech, not just for disposal but also the identification itself is useful

Gamified Disposal
⦁ Too Good To Go: food waste,
⦁ TrashOut: illegal trash dumping,
→ How we differ: specialization for medical disposal
Business Advertisements
Model Advertisements from medicine-related businesses. Because we expect our app to be
a ‘hub’ for people who need to frequently consume medicine, medical-related companies
will be incentivized to show ads on our app. As we’ve seen in our profit cycle,
they are expected to be our largest source of profit.

Point Margin Model

We offer users points for correctly answering Medibuddi’s daily quizzes about medicine.
Users can then use these points to buy real-life goods or gift cards.
MediBuddi generates revenue from the difference between points and actual prices.

Premium Plans
Premium membership includes A) No ads and B) Family connection service .
It will allow families of up to 6ppl to connect accounts. With this, members within the family
can access each other’s medication cycle - different from the free version where only
one designated caregiver has access, and is only for users aged 65+.
In addition, the system will automatically convert medication data into excel files once
every month as a part of the plan.
