1. Course Code : MATH212 5. Course Description:


2. Course Title : TRIGONOMETRY This course aims to develop student’s understanding of the fundamentals of trigonometric functions: angles,
solution of triangles, periodic phenomena and their applications. The course extends to include analytical
trigonometry and applications of trigonometry to navigation. This course is pre-requisite to Analytic Geometry and
Calculus. The course also includes selected topics in Algebra to help students consolidate all the concepts learned
in preparation for Analytic Geometry and Calculus. The use of graphing calculators and computer algebra systems
is highly encouraged
