1 Peter 2:24

24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to
righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
1 John 5:14-15
14 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his
will he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have
the requests that we have asked of him.
Isaiah 54:17
17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in
judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their
righteousness is from me, says the Lord.
Psalms 71
1 In you, O Lord, I put my trust; let me never be put to shame. 2 Deliver me in your
righteousness, and cause me to escape; incline your ear to me and save me. 3 Be my strong
refuge, to which I may resort continually; you have given the commandment to save me, for you
are my rock and fortress. 4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the
hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. 5 For you are my hope, O Lord God; you are my trust
from my youth. 6 By you I have been upheld from birth; you are He who took me out of my
mother’s womb. My praises shall be continually of you. 7 I have become as a wonder to many,
but you are my strong refuge. 8 Let my mouth be filled with Your praise and with Your glory all
the day. 9 Do not cast me off in the time of old age; Do not forsake me when my strength fails.
10 For my enemies speak against me; and those who lie in wait for my life take counsel together
11 Saying, “God has forsaken him; Pursue and take him, for there is none to deliver him.” 12 O
God, do not be far from me; O my God, make haste to help me! 13 Let them be confounded and
consumed who are adversaries of my life; let them be covered with reproach and dishonor who
seek my hurt. 14 But I will hope continually, and will praise you yet more and more. 15 My
mouth shall tell of your righteousness and your salvation all the day, for I do not know their
limits. 16 I will go in the strength of the Lord God; I will make mention of your righteousness, of
Yours only. 17 O God, you have taught me from my youth; and to this day I declare Your
wondrous works. 18 Now also when I am old and gray headed, O God, do not forsake me, until I
declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come. 19 Also Your
righteousness, O God, is very high, You who have done great things; O God, who is like You?
20 You, who have shown me great and severe troubles, shall revive me again, and bring me up
again from the depths of the earth. 21 You shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every
side. 22 Also with the lute I will praise You and Your faithfulness, O my God! To You I will
sing with the harp, O Holy One of Israel. 23 My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing to you, and
my soul, which You have redeemed. 24 My tongue also shall talk of Your righteousness all the
day long; for they are cofounded, for they are brought to shame who seek my hurt.
Psalms 91
1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the
Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God in Him I will
trust” 3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall
be your shield and buckler. 5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that
flies by day 6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste
at noonday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall
not come near you. 8 Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked. 9
Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place 10
No evil shall befall you, Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; 11 For He shall give His
angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. 12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
lest you dash your foot against a stone. 13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young
lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. 14 Because he has set his love upon Me,
therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. 15 He shall
call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honor
him. 16 With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation.
Psalms 19:13-14
13 Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me.
Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of great transgression. 14 Let the words of my
mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength and my
Redeemer.
Psalms 118: 14-29
14 The Lord is my strength and song, And he has become my salvation. 15 The voice of
rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the Lord does valiantly.
16 The right hand of the Lord is exalted; The right hand of the Lord does valiantly. 17 I shall not
die, but live, And declare the works of the Lord. 18 The Lord has chastened me severely, But he
has not given me over to death. 19 Open to me the gates of righteousness; I will go through
them, And I will praise the Lord. 20 This is the gate of the Lord, Through which the righteous
shall enter. 21 I will praise you, for you have answered me, and have become my salvation. 22
The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. 23 This was the Lord’s
doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. 24 This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be
glad in it. 25 Save now, I pray, O Lord; O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity. 26 Blessed is he
who comes in the name of the Lord! We have blessed you from the house of the Lord. 27 God is
the Lord, and he has given us light; Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the alter. 28 You
are my God, and I will praise you; You are my God, I will exalt you. 29 Oh give thanks to the
Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.
Psalms 119:105
105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
Psalms 51
1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your lovingkindness; according to the multitude of Your
tender mercies, blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from
my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions, and my sin is always before me. 4 Against You, You
only, have I sinned, and done this evil in Your sight that You may be found just when You speak and
blameless when You judge. 5 Behold I was bought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me.
6 Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.
7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8 Make me hear
joy and gladness, that the bones You have broken may rejoice. 9 Hide Your face from my sins, and blot
out all my iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. 11 Do
not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. 12 Restore to me the
joy of Your salvation, and uphold me by Your generous spirit. 13 Then I will teach transgressors Your
ways, and sinners shall be converted to You. 14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, the God
of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness. 15 O Lord, open my lips, and my
mouth shall show forth Your praise 16 For you do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not
delight in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart these,
O God, You will not despise. 18 Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; build the walls of Jerusalem. 19
Then you shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt
offering; then they shall offer bulls on Your alter.
Micah 7:8
8 Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, The Lord will be a
light to me.
Micah 7:19
19 He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into the
depths of the sea.
Jeremiah 29:11
11 For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to
give you a future and a hope.
Habakkuk 3:19
19 The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, and He will make me walk on
high hills.
Romans 12:2
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may
prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
1 John 5:14-15
14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He
hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that
we have asked of Him.
Isaiah 48:17-18
17 Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel;
I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth
thee by the way that thou shouldest go.
18 O that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments!
Then had thy peace been as a river, and they
righteousness as the waves of the sea:
19 Thy seed also had been as the sand, and the
offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof; his name
should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.
