am going to create an ID Account Recovery Case with an email account you can
currently access. You are going to receive an email within the next 24 hours from
FSAIDVerify@[Link]. This email will require you to reply with proof of identity
such as a copy of your driver's license, passport, or state issued ID. If you have
a smartphone, just take a picture of your ID, attach it to the email, and send it
back. If you do not receive the email within 24 hours, check your SPAM folder and
search for “Federal Student Aid: Your Identity Verification Request.”
Dontre (12/30/2024, [Link] PM): Once the ID Account Recovery team receives
acceptable documentation, in 7 business days they will put your "current " email,
the one you will provide me, on your FSA ID account. The ID" Account Recovery Team
will then send you a follow up email letting you know once that has been completed
and will also send you instructions on how to reset your password through your
email address.
