INTERNAL HACKATHON 2025
Rules & Regulations Sheet
Objective: The purpose of this document is to ensure that our Hackathon at Adamas
University runs smoothly, with fairness, discipline, and transparency. These rules are
aligned with the spirit and standards of Smart India Hackathon (SIH) 2025.

1. Team Composition
• Each team can have a maximum of 6 members, including at least one female
participant.
• Every team must nominate a Team Leader, who will be the official point of
contact.
• Only the Team Leader’s registered account will be used for submissions.
2. Code of Conduct
• We expect participants to maintain integrity, mutual respect, and discipline through-
out the event.
• Any plagiarism, rule violation, or unethical practice will result in immediate
disqualification.
• All instructions from mentors and organizers should be followed in true spirit.
3. Hackathon Rules
• Teams must strictly work on the assigned problem statement.
• Submissions must reflect original work. Use of open-source material is allowed
only with proper acknowledgment.

• Each team’s final submission should include:
– A Working Prototype or Demo
– A concise Presentation Deck (PPT)
– The Source Code (GitHub repository or ZIP file)
4. Evaluation Criteria
Projects will be judged fairly using SIH 2025 parameters. The evaluation will consider:
• Innovation & Creativity (20%) – Originality and uniqueness of the idea
• Relevance (20%) – Alignment with the given problem statement
• Technical Feasibility (20%) – Practicality and implementation possibility
• Prototype Quality (20%) – Functionality and execution of the solution
• Presentation (20%) – Clarity, confidence, and communication during demo
5. Fairness in Evaluation
• All projects will be judged by an independent jury panel.
• A uniform scoring sheet will be used to ensure transparency.
• The jury’s decision will be final and binding.
6. Submission Guidelines
• All submissions must be uploaded before the announced deadline.
• Late entries will not be considered.
• Teams are advised to maintain their own backup copies.
7. General Instructions
• Participants must carry their valid college ID cards.
• Teams should maintain discipline and respect for peers, mentors, and organizers.

• Hardware-based teams must arrange and carry their own components.
• Food will not be provided; participants should bring their own meals.
• At least two members from each team must always be present at their table.
