Reel Script & Editing Guide
1. Concept Understanding
Problem: Old packaging has many copies in the market.
Goal: Showcase new packaging with security features (QR code, hologram sticker) and
highlight the difference.
Platform: Social media reels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube).
2. Script Structure
A. Opening (2–3 sec)
Show old packaging and the issue (copies in market).
Optional text overlay: “Confused about the original?”
B. Main Section (5–8 sec)
Introduce new packaging.
Highlight QR code, hologram sticker, and other features.
Text overlay: “Scan QR for authenticity” or “Look for hologram sticker.”
C. Comparison (3–5 sec)
Split screen or transition showing old vs new packaging.
Text overlay: “Original vs Copy – Can you tell?”
D. Call-to-Action (2–3 sec)
Brand logo + tagline.
Optional: “Follow us / Buy now / Scan QR code.”
3. Editing Workflow
Step 1: Import all assets (mockups, logos, QR codes, hologram stickers) into Premiere Pro &
After Effects.
Step 2: Arrange clips according to storyboard/script.
Step 3: Add animations and effects in After Effects:
Zoom or spotlight on QR code and hologram sticker.
Smooth transitions between old and new packaging.
Step 4: Add text overlays and brand elements:
Keep fonts readable on mobile.
Stick to brand colors.
Step 5: Export & test:
Use 1080p or 4K depending on platform.
Check readability, animation timing, and overall flow.
4. Delivery
Provide editable project files (Premiere Pro & After Effects).
Include all layers, assets, and mockups for client’s future edits.
Optionally, create short teaser versions for social media previews.
