THE FLOOD OF NOAH'S DAY
More than 4,350 years ago, according to the historical record in the Bible, the
floodgates of heaven opened, and a flood flooded the entire Earth. This meant the
destruction of all wicked and violent men, as well as those who were so indifferent
that they ignored God's warning. The only survivors of the Flood were Noah and
his family, a total of eight people, along with a small number of each kind of animal
life, and they managed to survive in a huge ark built according to God's
instructions. (Génesis 7:1-24)
¿How did things happen?
Jehovah God saw that the wickedness of man abounded on the earth, that every
inclination of man's thoughts was evil all the time, God felt wounded in his heart by
the attitude that human beings, created by him, was very bad.
Even some angels from heaven began to see the women of the earth; they were
beautiful, and they came down and took on human bodies, something that was
totally aberrant in the eyes of God.
By transforming their spiritual bodies, the angels became enormous giants called
Nephilim who were very evil. They took the women they wanted, stole, beat and
killed people, and the earth was filled with violence.
So, God chose the only good man on earth. That man was named Noah, a name
that means rest or consolation. Noah lived with his wife and three sons named
Shem, Ham, and Japheth, who lived with their wives. Jehovah God instructed
Noah and his family to build a huge wooden ark to save the animals there from a
worldwide flood.
In addition to building the ark, on purpose, without tools, since it was the first time
that a gigantic ship was built on earth, Noah and his family went out every day to
warn people of the destruction that God was going to bring and what they should
do to save themselves, in fact, it was to change their way of acting and enter the
ark to save themselves.
But people ignored them. They mocked Noah and his family, calling them crazy
because they had never seen rain. At that time, the earth and plants were wet with
the morning dew, and the people had never seen a storm. Noah and his family
carried out this project for 40 years.
But the day came. Jehovah God told Noah to bring all the animals into the ark in
pairs, and that he and his family should also enter. After this, God closed the door
of the ark and 7 days later it began to rain very heavily. Although the terrified
people asked Noah to open the door of the ark, God did not do it. The water
reached the top of the highest mountains and covered the entire surface of the
Earth. Every living creature that was outside the ark died.
It rained for 40 days and 40 nights, and the water began to recede. Noah, his
family and the animals, along with the food they had collected, spent 370 days
inside the ark until it landed on top of Mount Ararat, which is located in the far east
of Turkey, near the borders with Armenia and Iran.
Noah and his family, along with the animals, left happily and overjoyed to be safe.
They gave thanks to God by sacrificing a lamb. Jehovah God made a promise to
humanity that he would never again destroy the earth with a flood, and he sealed
this promise with the appearance of the rainbow.
Today, every time we see a rainbow, we remember the promise God made to
humanity to never destroy the earth with a flood. But unfortunately, the earth has
once again been filled with violence, and God once again plans to destroy all evil.
How does he plan to do this? What should we do to save ourselves? How can we
be so sure that this destruction is coming? Don't hesitate to ask me for more
information. Current circumstances are proof of this cleansing.
