Oratory: School – The Foundation of Our Future
Good morning, honorable judges, respected teachers, and dear classmates,
Today, I want to talk to you about a place we all know very well. A place we enter with
backpacks full of notebooks… and leave with hearts full of dreams. That place is school.
School is not just a building with blackboards, desks, and bells that ring for recess. It is
much more than that. It is the first stage where we learn to live together, to express
ourselves, to make mistakes, and to grow from them. In these classrooms, the journey to
who we want to become truly begins.
It is in school where we learn to read the world, to add our ideas, and to subtract our fears.
We learn about science, history, and art… but we also learn respect, responsibility, and
perseverance. And most importantly, we learn to believe in ourselves.
Yes, there are many new ways to learn today—like the internet, apps, and artificial
intelligence—but nothing can replace a teacher who looks you in the eyes and believes
in you. Nothing replaces the joy of working with classmates, solving problems together, or
laughing after a tough test.
Sometimes, school can be hard. It challenges us, pushes us, and yes—it can even be tiring.
But it also transforms us. School prepares us not just to pass exams, but to face life.
Because beyond uniforms and homework, school is the foundation of our future.
So, classmates, let’s not take this gift for granted. Because where there is education, there is
freedom. And where there is freedom, there is possibility.
Thank you.
