DOLPHIN AMO CROCHETING PROCESS:
BODY:
Stuff tight as you go, especially in the bow and tail. Work with blue semi-cotton yarn or
with mint velour yarn, don’t forget to mark rows.
ATTANTION: in this crochet pattern I do not use eyes on a secure mount, as there are
difficulties with their placement on the sides of the head, the expression of the toy's gaze
changes. That's why I use sewn-on eyes, but you can crochet the eyes for a dolphin if it is a gift
for a small child (description below in the pattern).

it. Also attach the belly to the middle of the nose (see photo 1, 2).Use straight pins to hold the
belly in place while you sew it on (see photo 3, 4). With your yarn needle, sew the belly onto the
dolphin. Continue all the way around the belly a few times until there are no more loose
sections. Remove the straight pins as you go. Fasten and cat the thread.

ASSEMBLY:
1. Sew the fins of the tail, slightly sewing them between each other (see photo). Sew the
fins on the sides, backing 27 rows from the beginning nose, close to the white belly.
10
Pattern by Ekaterina Litvinova, May 2020
2. Count 19 rows and embroider flakes on the 15 rows of the head with gold thread, every 2
stitches (see photo).
3. Embroider 2 stitches with gold thread between the white belly and blue body around the
whole dolphin (see photo).
4. In this crochet pattern I do not use eyes on a secure mount, as there are difficulties
with their placement on the sides of the head, the expression of the toy's gaze
changes. That's why I use sewn-on eyes, but you can crochet the eyes for a
dolphin if it is a gift for a small child.
For example (EYES (2 details)):
ATTANTION: Focus on your hook and your yarn. I
gave an example from my yarn and hook size 2
FOR EXAMPLE: for the dolphin from semi-cotton yarn
Work with black thread (I use yarn: YarnArt Jeans and
crochet hook size №2)
1 r: 9 sc in AR
Embroider white stitches 2-3 times as shown in the
photo.

or
1 r: 6 sc in AR
2 r: 6 inc (12)
Embroider white stitches 2-3 times as shown in the photo.
FOR EXAMPLE: for the dolphin from velour yarn
Work with black thread (I use yarn: YarnArt Jeans and crochet hook size №2)
1 r: 7 sc in AR
2 r: 7 inc (14)
Embroider white stitches 2-3 times as shown in the photo.
or
1 r: 8 sc in AR
2 r: 8 inc (16)
Embroider white stitches 2-3 times as shown in the photo.
Sewn - on eyes: sew the eyes at a distance of 4-5 sc from
the white belly, between 20th and 21st rows from the face
beginning of the dolphin from semi-cotton yarn, and
between 17th and 18th rows of the dolphin from velour yarn.
While sewing, make sculpting for the eyes between each
other, repeat that 3 times (pulling the thread between
them). Sew the eyes on the both sides at the same time
with one thread, not separately. By pulling the thread
between the eyes, the eyes sink into the yarn. After
additionally glue the eyes (for strength). Embroider
eyelashes and make white stitches on the sides of the
eyes.
5. Sew the upper fin on the top at a distance of 1 row from the flakes after rounding the
head (see photo).
12
Pattern by Ekaterina Litvinova, May 2020
6. Bend the Dolphin's tail up and your dolphin is ready.
