IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES
1. The Admit Card is being issued based on the information provided by the candidate in his/her application form and is provisional subject to satisfying
the eligibility conditions given in the Information Brochure.
2. No candidate is allowed to appear in SET Exam without Admit Card.
3. It is the responsibility of the candidate to reach on or before the reporting time to avoid refusal of entry.
4. Candidates are required to present the following documents to the officials for identification at the examination centre.
* A printed copy of the Admit Card downloaded from the SET website (a clear preferably colour printout on A4 size paper).
* One duly attested Passport size photograph, same as uploaded with the Online Application Form, pasted on the admit card.
* A valid Photo Identity Proof, in original, preferably the same which was used to complete the JKSET/LASET application form for verification purposes.The name on the
photo identification must match the name as shown on the Admit Card.
* PwD certificates issued by the Competent Authority, in original, if claiming the relaxation under PwD category.
5. Candidates are NOT allowed to carry any baggage/handbags/electronic gadgets/devices or other materials listed in the Information Brochure, to the
Examination Centre. The SET Officials will not be responsible for the safe keep of the personal belongings. However, a candidates may carry one filled
transparent(see through) water bottle with him/her.
6. Candidate must sit in the seat allotted to him/her at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. They can read instructions, before
the commencement of the examination. Change of rooms/ hall or seat, on his/her own, is strictly prohibited
7. Use only Blue/Black Ball Point Pen for answering on OMR sheet. Pencil/ink/gel pens are not allowed in any case.
8. After the completion of the examination, candidates should hand over OMR sheet and their Admit Card to the invigilator on duty.
9. Candidates will NOT be permitted to leave the Examination Room/Hall before the end of the examination. He/she may, however, leave the examination
hall, if wishes so, after the expiry of half time of the start of Paper-II after submitting OMR sheet and question paper.
10. No candidate shall be allowed to leave the examination hall during the 15 minutes gap between Paper-I and Paper-II.
11. Candidates shall maintain complete silence and shall not indulge in any conversation, argument or gesticulation during the examination. No
Candidate should adopt any unfair means or indulge in any unfair examination practices.
