New 777 R-9 Info:

- You are parked at Gate A-21 at DFW.


- ATIS and Clearance are given in the packet.
- There are no changes to the clearance.
- On the taxi out there is work on what runway you will be using. They called it
a runway change but the ATIS says one set of runways and the TPS draws
your attention to another set of runways but on the taxi out the runway was
35C.
- So, FMC changes and TPS review. The taxi and takeoff no issues.
- 1/2 mile vis.
- SID HUDAD1 has the crossing restriction HAZKL 5000ft. Just ask for relief
with ground. Chart in the packet.
- On takeoff gave us a heading 345. Three minutes after takeoff.
- Message No Auto land. Wx in Dallas goes down below CAT1. Climbing to
FL340.
- Ask for Dallas area weather. Amarillo or OKC are the best choices.
- There is TRW on the route of flight so you will get an east route change
closer to OKC.
The three malfunction options:
Bleed Leak light
Engine fuel filter
Engine oil temp
Approaches to the divert airports,
KAMA RNAV Y 22
KOKC ILS 17L GS OTS
- Fix RURIQ does not come up on legs so DME or FIX page to ident position
to get lower MDA 1680
- FO flew the plane and the Capt. did his thing, ran the checklist and test stuff
and brief OKC ops and dispatch.
- Landed in OKC and had fire crew look over plane told the pax to remain
seated. Brake set. Checkride over.

- Balance of time spent on wind shear, unusual attitudes, North Atlantic track
diverts, 1 to Gander for engine malfunction descend below tracks, FO to
Iceland with medical emergency. Off-track and then climb or descend 500
ft. Looking for the 121.5 and 123.45 calls and then to SAT to Gander call.
- Had airspeed unreliable takeoff and Capt. did the landing.
- The training was fast and furious, move and reset. sim was slow and a lot of
simissums. We did the prep in the 300 and last day in the 200.
- Two hour brief had over 100 slides on the brief.
- We had a less than two minute brief on the loft and what to expect.
