Thus, the value of '𝑎𝑎' = 3.
6. 46𝑎𝑎7𝑏𝑏2 is divisible by 9 only when the sum of the digits of the number is divisible by 9
4 + 6 + 𝑎𝑎 + 7 + 𝑏𝑏 + 2 = 19 + 𝑎𝑎 + 𝑏𝑏
Minimum value of 𝑎𝑎 + 𝑏𝑏 = 8, because 19 + 8 = 21 is divisible by 9.
Maximum value of 𝑎𝑎 + 𝑏𝑏 = 17, because 19 + 17 = 36 is divisible by 9.
7. 150 can be expressed as 150 × 1, 75 × 2, 50 × 3, 30 × 5, 25 × 6, 15 × 10.

3.
a. 6 of 20 ÷ 5 – 10 = 6 × 20 ÷ 5 – 10
= 6 × 4 – 10
= 24 – 10 = 14
b. 85 – 20 ÷ 4 + 10 of 2 = 85 – 20 ÷ 4 + 10 of 2
= 85 – 5 + 10 × 2
= 85 – 5 + 20
= 85 + 20 – 5 = 100
c. 37 + 26 ÷ 2 + 2 of 25 – 80 ÷ 2 = 37 + 13 + 2 × 25 – 40
= 37 + 13 + 50 – 40
= 100 – 40 = 60
d. 45 + (35 – 12) – 5 = 45 + 23 – 5
= 68 – 5 = 63
e. 20 ÷ (2 of 3 + 8 – 4) + 7 = 20 ÷ (6 + 8 – 4) + 7
= 20 ÷ 10 + 7
=2+7=9
f. 80 – {20 – (5 + 2 – 4 ÷ 2)} = 80 – {20 – (5 + 2 – 2)}
= 80 – {20 – 5}
= 80 – 15 = 65
g. 90 + {10 + 15 of 3 – (20 + 30 – 45 ÷ 5)} = 90 + {10 + 15 of 3 – (20 + 30 – 9)}
= 90 + {10 + 15 of 3 – 41}
= 90 + {10 + 45 – 41}
= 90 + 14 = 104
h. 8 – {3 – 2 + (6 – 4 + 1)} = 8 – {3 – 2 + 3}
=8–4=4
4. 5 × 4 = 20, 5 × 5 = 25, 5 × 6 = 30, 5 × 7 = 35, 5 × 8 = 40, 5 × 9 = 45, 5 × 10 = 50.
So, the multiples of 5 between 20 and 50 are 25, 30, 35, 40, 45.
