Using Report editor how we can create the BIP Report (07/03/2025)

Step1 : Create the Data Model (we will prepare the query , parameters, list of values etc)

Step 2: Save as sample data.

Step 3 : Export option to export the data into xml [Link] will be download one xml file

Step 4 : using that xml file we can create the RTF Template using Microsoft word.

Step 5 : Save as RTF Template

Step 6 : Pdf preview for testing

Step 7 : upload the RTF Template to the oracle cloud.

Step 8 : see the report output

Navigation

Tools-->Report and analytics--->browse catalog--->create-->Data Model--->data sets--->click on


diagram---> click on(+) symbol ----->select the SQL Query--->Prepare the Query(data model)
After prepare the query save as sample data

Export option to export the data into xml [Link] will be download one xml file
using that xml file we can create the RTF Template using Microsoft word.

First we can create the parameter first select the field that field is placed in the below line
Then after select the All fields

Save as RTF format.


Upload the RTF Template to the oracle cloud…

Select create report

Click on cancel

Save the RTF File that file upload the oracle cloud
This is Upload Template File
Click on upload

Save as Report
Click on View Report

This is the Report
