GROUP 6 PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT ROLE PLAY SCRIPT

RALPH (NARRATOR)
They don’t follow trends— they create them. They walk in, and
the world shifts just to make room. Perfect hair, sharper
words, and smiles that cut like glass. That’s them. That’s
power. That’s the Heathers.

Janel Santiago, head cheerleader. Her dad is loaded—he owns

the nicest jewelry store in town, and she never lets you
forget it.

Franchesca Jade, runs the students body. No discernible

personality, but her mom did make a few well-placed donations
to keep her ahead.

And Shannon Ray, the Almighty, she is a mythic menace.
Untouchable. Unchallenged. Totally feared.

They’re solid teflon—never bothered, never phased, never

harassed. And everyone else? Just wishing they could be a
fraction of what they are.

(The three girls came into the scene and surrounded Melody.)

SHANNON: Ano na namang kinakaabalahan mo riyan, Melody? Janel,

paypayan mo nga ako.

JANEL: (Fans Shannon)

MELODY: Homework lang.

SHANNON: Oh, nerd. Girl, if you want to be like one of us,

umakto ka naman na parang kami. How many times do I have to
tell you that? Tara nga rito, itabi mo yan.

MELODY: Teka lang, di pa nga ako tapos!

(Shannon snatches the paper, and they stand up. She pulls
Melody in a corner.)
RALPH (NARRATOR)
High school has rules, and they make them.

A girl steps into the cafeteria, food in hand, head down—safe.

Or so she thinks. Janel barely tilts her head, and suddenly,
every seat is taken. By the time she blinks, she’s eating
alone by the trash can.

Franchesca strolls the halls, slow, deliberate. The student

body president fumbles her papers as she passes. She never
shoves—fear does it for her.

And Shannon? She doesn’t speak. She doesn’t have to. One look,
and a student’s name vanishes from every group chat, every
weekend plan; every conversation. They’ll spend the whole year
clawing their way back—if they’re lucky.

Nobody fights back, Nobody dares.

SHANNON: Do you see that girl over there? Yung mag-isa?

(Points at Airielle)

MELODY: Sino?

SHANNON: Right there! That one! Bulag ka ba?

(Guiding Melody aside, Shannon pulls out a pen and paper.)

SHANNON: Alam mo naman… that Airielle likes your boyfriend,

right? So here's what you're gonna do. You're gonna write a
letter, pretending to be Thed, and ask Airielle out. Simple!
Dali na!

MELODY: Bakit si Airielle? Wala naman siyang ginagawa satin.

SHANNON: Shh! Sumunod ka na lang. It's fun! Chesca! Kailangan

namin ng patungan!

CHESCA: (Didn't hear)

SHANNON: Chesca! (Pulled Chesca towards her.) Yuko!

CHESCA: Bakit ko gagawin yon? (Irritated.)

(Shannon aggressively pulls Chesca and makes her bow down.

While Melody uses Cheaca’s back so she could write.)

SHANNON: Babasahin ko, at isusulat mo. Here.

Arielle,

This might be stupid, but here goes. I see you. Not just
in the way everyone else does, but really see you. And I think
maybe you see me too.

Meet me after school. Just us.

—Thed

RALPH (NARRATOR)
Janel takes the letter from Melody's hands, folding it in half
with a smile. Melody watched, helpless, and powerless as Janel
sneaked behind Airielle and slipped the letter inside her bag.

Airielle glances at the unfamiliar paper that was peeking from

her bag, oblivious to the real cause behind it. Melody watches
in horror as she opens the piece of paper and reads it, seeing
that smile in Airielle’s face over a manipulated lie.

(Behind the school.)

Thed walks around the corner, stopping when he sees Airielle.

THED: Ano ginagawa mo dito?

AIRIELLE: Nakuha ko yung letter mo…

THED: Anong sulat?

AIRIELLE: Yung iniwan mo sa table ko,sabi mo you want to be

with m–

THED: Baliw ka ba?!

AIRIELLE: Sabi mo… mag meet up tayo kasi–

THED: Hindi sa akin galing ‘yon.

THED: Sino ba nagsabi sa’yo na may gusto akong makasama bukod

kay Melody?

Airielle clenches her fists, blinking back tears. She doesn’t

answer. She doesn’t need to. They both know. Her face flushes
before Thed could get a word in, she turns and runs, shame
overcoming her very being.

(The four friends watched as Airielle and Thed left. Shannon

laughed in amusement.)

SHANNON: She's so pathetic! Naniwala talaga siya ron?

MELODY: I can't believe you did that! Mali yon! Inosente yung
tao!

SHANNON: Come on, Melody. Hindi naman siya kaawa-awa e. She's

a nobody.

CHESCA: Oh come on, Melody. Parang yun lang. Hindi niya

ikamamatay yan.

JANEL: That's true. Outcast lang naman si Airielle, wala

namang may paki riyan.

MELODY: Talagang sumabat pa kayong dalawa! Sunud-sunuran lang

naman kayo ng isang ‘to e!

JANEL: Hindi ah!

MELODY: Palibhasa kasi, takot na takot kayo sa kaniya! Believe

it or not, Shannon, maraming may ayaw sayo na hindi lang
makapagsalita, dahil takot at wala silang laban sayo. Just
step down. You're not a leader. Hindi tulad mo ang kailangan
namin.

SHANNON: Fine! Bahala kayo riyan! Tingnan natin kung kaya

niyong wala ako! (Walks out)

RALPH (NARRATOR)
With Melody's courage, Shannon was easily removed from their
throne of power. Without the old leader, there was an
unfamiliar peace. For a moment, it seemed like things could be
different.

But power never stays unclaimed for long. Melody didn’t seize
power. She didn’t have to. Shannon ruled with control, Melody
led with something the former did not understand—-choice.
People listened, not because they were afraid, but because,
for once, they wanted to.

MELODY: I was awful to you. I knew what they were doing, and I
still did nothing.

AIRIELLE: Pero sa huli, may ginawa ka pa ring tama. You spoke

up for us, you did the right thing.

MELODY: I'm really sorry for what we did. Sinubukan ko rin

naman pigilan.

AIRIELLE: It's okay. Nangyari na. Pero may pagbabago kang

nagawa. You're forgiven.

(The two girls shared a hug, and they parted. Then, Melody
walks and passes by Chesca and Janel.)

JANEL: Melody! Wait lang.

MELODY: Ano yon? Kung susumbatan niyo lang ako, wag na lang.

CHESCA: No. We just wanted to say sorry. You were right about
her. For a long time, we were blindly following a cruel leader
who affected all of us negatively.

JANEL: Hindi namin namamalayan na naiimpluwensiyahan niya na

rin kaming maging masama. Naging sunud-sunuran kami. Pero
dahil sayo, we realized our mistakes too. For that, we're
really sorry.

MELODY: Okay lang yon. Ang mahalaga alam niyo na yung tama at
mali. Just don't do it again.
CHESCA: You're a good person, Melody. Thank you for being this
understanding. You'll be a great leader someday.

RALPH (NARRATOR)
It takes one person to spark change, but true leadership isn’t
about tearing someone down—it’s about lifting others up. A
real leader doesn’t rule through fear or force; they inspire,
they guide, and they make people want to follow.

Being a leader isn;t about sitting on a mighty throne. It's

about knowing when to stand, when to listen, and when to step
aside so others can rise too. This time, they have a choice.
And maybe, just maybe… this time, they’ll follow for the right
reasons.

THE END.
