1. According to Luke 1: 26 – 38 the angel of the Lord announces to Mary the


qualities of the son that she is going to bear.

b) Outline the events that surrounds the Baptism of Jesus.
c) “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my saviour, for he
has regarded the low estate of his hand maiden”. Who said these words, and
what is the significance of these words.
d) The Gospel of Luke is also called the Gospel of songs. Discuss with evidences
