IMPLEMENTATION MODALITIES OF VISA REQUIREMENTS TO NAMIBIA

Nationals and citizens of countries that have not reciprocated Namibia's gesture of visa exemption
?q1 are required to apply for a visa in order to gain entry into Namibia. The implementation date for
this visa policy was 1 April 2025.

o All travellers to Namibia must acquaint themselves with Namibia's visa requirements and ensure

that they are in possession of the required visas before travelling to Namibia.

Apply for your holiday visa (e-visa), (online) visa-on-arrival and short-term employment permit

Approved Visas and Permits Must Be tssued or Endorsed Before Entry into-Na!1ibia
. An approval letter for a visa or permit, with or without proof of payment, is not a permit to enter
Namibia. The visa or permit must be issued (as a loose-leaf visa) or endorsed (in the passport)
before you travel to Namibia.
o lf you travel to Namibia with an approval letter, with or without proof of payment, and are
eligible for visa-on-arrival, you will be required to first obtain an entry visa (valid only for a
few days) at the port of entry for a fee. This will enable you to enter Namibia and get the
approved visa/permit endorsed in your passport.
o lf you are not eligible for visa-on-arrival, you must apply for a visa before travelling to
Namibia - you will not be allowed entry without a visa obtained beforehand.

gO-DAY HOLTDAY VISA - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Visa Eligihillty_anllgnCjtions: A 9O-day multiple-entry holiday visa may be granted if you

meet the entry requirements, such as proving you have adequate funds for your stay. You
must state how many days you want the visa for.

Multiplq Engyi This visa allows you to leave and re-enter Namibia during the validity
period, without needing a new visa.

Extension of Stayi You will be granted the number of days you request for. lf you need
more days, you can apply for an extension at one of the following offices:

. Crootfontein Sub-Regional Office
. Kavango East Regional Office (Rundu)
o Khomas Regional Office (Windhoek)
. Omusati Regional Office (Outapi)
. Ondangwa Sub-Regional Office

. Zambezi Regional Office (Katima Mulilo)

Extending_a_(Shorter) Visa UpofltgCl 3lljya! lf you already have a visa for a period shorter
than 90 days, you may apply for a longer visa (not exceeding 9O days in a calendar year)
upon your arrival at the port of entry - if you are eligible for a visa-on-arrival. A fee applies.

expiry date of your visa, you will only be issued a visa for the remaining days. However, you
may apply for a new visa upon your arrival, only if you are eligible for visa-on-arrival.

E-Visa Validity; E-visas can only be applied for outside Namibia and are only valid for the
period stated on the approved e-visa. lf you plan to enter Namibia outside of those dates,
you'll need a new visa.

ARRIVAL PROCEDURE AT THE PORT OF ENTRY

r Namibian Citizens and Residents:

lf you are a Namibian citizen, have a valid permanent residence permit or are domiciled
in Namibia, you do not need to complete the arrival form.

Travellers with an E-visa:

lf you already have an approved e-visa, you do not need to complete the arrival form.
ee Your e-visa serves as your arrival form. Sign the arrival part on your e-visa in front of an
lmmigration Officer at the counter.

Travellers without an E-visa:

w lf you are applying for a visa on arrival at the port of entry, you must complete the
arrival form in advance but only sign it in front of an lmmigration Officer.
