Test Report

Aim

To assess the personality of a subject using the NEO-FFI personality intervention.

Tool Used

The NEO Five-Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI) was employed for this assessment. It is a personality test based
on the Five-Factor Model (FFM) of personality traits, also known as the Big Five. It measures five key
dimensions: Neuroticism, Extraversion, Openness to Experience, Agreeableness, and Conscientiousness,
providing insight into an individual's typical patterns of behaviour, emotions, and thoughts.

Administration: The NEO-FFI is typically administered in a self-report format, where the participant
responds to a series of statements/items related to their behaviour and feelings in different situations. It
consists of 60 items, with 12 items per each of the five personality dimensions. Respondents rate how
well each statement describes them on a 5-point Likert scale, ranging from strongly agree to strongly

Interpretation:

The NEO- FFI personality test the client scored is :

Neuroticism (Score: 27 – High)

The client’s high score on Neuroticism suggests a tendency toward emotional sensitivity and psychological
distress. Individuals with elevated neuroticism may experience frequent mood swings, anxiety, irritability, or
vulnerability to stress. This trait is associated with lower emotional resilience and a higher likelihood of
experiencing negative emotions, particularly in response to challenging or uncertain circumstances.

Extraversion (Score: 32 – High)

The client demonstrates a high level of Extraversion, indicating an outgoing, energetic, and sociable personality
style. High scorers in this domain typically enjoy social interactions, seek excitement, and are comfortable
expressing themselves in group settings. The client is likely to be assertive, enthusiastic, and motivated by
external stimulation, which may contribute positively to roles involving teamwork, leadership, or
communication.

Openness to Experience (Score: 21 – Low)

A low score on Openness suggests that the client tends to be conventional, practical, and prefers familiar
routines. This personality style may involve a preference for factual over abstract thinking and a resistance to
change or innovation. The client may rely on traditional values and may be less inclined toward imaginative or
creative pursuits.

Agreeableness (Score: 29 – Low)

The client’s low score in Agreeableness indicates a more skeptical, competitive, or self-reliant interpersonal
style. Individuals in this range may prioritize their own needs over social harmony and may be less trusting, less
cooperative, and more assertive in defending their viewpoints. While this may benefit independent or
leadership-oriented environments, it could present challenges in highly collaborative or emotionally sensitive
contexts.

Conscientiousness (Score: 18 – Very Low)

This very low score suggests a marked tendency toward spontaneity and a lack of structured planning. The
client may struggle with organization, time management, and follow-through on tasks or long-term goals. There
may be a preference for flexibility over routine, but this can lead to difficulties in settings that demand
consistency, self-discipline, or delayed gratification.

Conclusion:

The client’s profile reflects a sociable and expressive individual with heightened emotional sensitivity and a
strong preference for routine and independence. Lower levels of conscientiousness, openness, and
agreeableness may present challenges in task management, adaptability, and collaboration. These results
