Hextasy builds simple, fast web experiences for social tabletop gaming—events, community,
and products—shipped with a practical, learn-as-we-go mindset.
What you’ll do
● Build and improve user-facing pages and flows in React for:
● Event booking (gate/raid sessions, slots, confirmations)
● Player matchmaking and team/guild onboarding
● Product discovery pages for minis/terrain and accessories
● Simple AI chat entry points and help overlays
● Turn basic wireframes into clean, responsive UI and reusable components.
● Implement lightweight interactions/animations that make flows clearer.
● Iterate quickly based on feedback and usage data; ship small features regularly.
● Keep things fast and accessible: performance, clarity, and mobile-first.
What we’re looking for
● Comfortable with React, JavaScript/TypeScript basics, HTML, and CSS.
● Knows core UI/UX principles: spacing, typography, color, states, responsiveness.
● Able to learn new tools or libraries as needed and figure things out from docs.
● Good communicator who can work from rough specs and improve them.
● Bonus: experience with a CSS framework (Tailwind/SCSS), routing, or basic API
integration.
