Pic 3. After R6 you will start working on rows instead of rounds
Pic 4. The helmet looks like this, the spiky part is the front of the helmet
Pic 5. As you can see there are many bumpy parts, so after finishing R16 you will be making slip
stitches around the helmet
Pic 6. It becomes smoother like this, after finishing leave a long yarn tail so you can sew the

Assembling & detailing
Pic 8. Sew the head with the body
Pic 9. Place the helmet over the head and sew it, leave about 1cm around the corners near
the front of the head so you can glue the plastic/acrylic
Pic 10. Sew the ears each side of the head, leaving the magic ring between them, sew the
arms each side of the body just below the head
Pic 11. Place the legs on the bottom part of the body and sew them, lastly sew the tail just
below the shirt detail
10
Pattern by haniscrochet
Pic 12. First make a template of the mask with some paper or cardboard (remember is has to
be slightly bigger so you can glue it inside the helmet too
Pic 13. Needle felt the details of Kid cat, you can check the video link in the intro part to see
how I speed work the needle felting details
Pic 14. After needle felting the details, you can glue the crystal/plastic. Remember to use a
glue that work on both the plastic and the yarn
Pic 15. Press the parts where you are gluing for about 1 or 2 minutes, until it dries
11
Pattern by haniscrochet
Pic 16. Cut a long piece of white felt, (make sure it is wide enough to go between the ears)
one of the ends should be wider and end in a triangle shape, like a necktie
Pic 17. Glue it on top of the helmet, if you feel it is too feeble, make 2 or 3 more layers and glue
them together so it will be sturdier
Pic 18. Cut in blue felt a big and a small number 1 (I used my Cricut maker with rotary blade)
the big one about 1 inch tall (2.5cm) and the small one about .6 inch tall (1.5cm) Glue the
small one over the white part of the helmet and the big one in the shirt
