I do love your company in general and I have been looking actively to your website

and your careers page in particular, where I found this Data Analyst job vacancy in your

company. Your Pacesetter Marketing Company is very familiar to me since in my previous

work, your company happened to be our major competitor in this field of marketing. After

learning of this job opportunity in your company, I contacted your company HR department,

and I was invited for the interview today.

I have been refining my Data Analyst skills with side projects and volunteer

opportunities. This job position will give me an opportunity to put my abilities to work for a

mission I am passionate about. I am so happy to learn that in the job description there is that

role that will require frequent presentations to key stakeholders, connecting with my

colleagues and communicating my teams work happen to be my key motivators, actually this

is the most amazing part of this job opportunity. I have learned a lot while working in this

position, in previous employment, but I am now looking for the next step, where I will

continue growing and using my skills I have at a company I love and the opportunity to work

here seems to be a great fit. The position of the Data Analyst will enable me to provide

strategic insights for high growth accounts. I will use my data analysis skills to create a more

sales oriented environment. I am going to use my position to build my successes while

promoting and representing the company’s brand. I do love your company’s mission that

purposes to revolutionize the client goods space and with this position I will bring value to

your company.

My greatest professional achievement was finishing my bachelor’s degree in 4 years

with a good grade. I self-sponsored my university education, I had a full time job while

pursuing bachelor’s degree. Studying while working taught me to manage my time well, stay

focused on my goals and built great habits. This achievement makes me feel proud of myself

and I do believe it will give me a great advantage in my data analyst position in your well

established company. My other professional achievement was turning around the achievement

of my previous employer in the department of data handling. Before joining my previous

employer company, the company was struggling to achieve its quarterly goals, but after

joining, with my data collection and analysis skills, I was in a position to create a new
marketing plan, that after being implemented within 6 months, the company achieved 25

percent above the set goals. My new plan brought in an additional 4 million dollars in revenue

to the company within the second half of the previous year. The additional revenue brought

the company to profitability and it stopped from operating in losses.

My previous employer had big data that sometime could overwhelmed employees and

the risk managers. That data resulted from the information on interaction and incident that

took place on a daily basis. I developed an automated data handling system that allowed the

employees to spent time on it rather than spending time processing it. There was another issue

that resulted from trying to analyze data across multiple disjointed sources. Employees could

not realize this issue what led to inaccurate and incomplete analysis. The automated system I

developed helped the employees to access all types of information in one location ensuring

that the data is complete. Poor quality data inform of inaccurate data was another issue. The

data inaccuracy was as a result of errors made during data entry. If data is inaccurate, it can

lead to significant negative consequences, if the data is to be used to influence some decision.

Asymmetrical data resulting from system that does not show changes made in another system

leaving behind an outdated data, was another issue. I developed a centralized system that

eliminated this issues. This centralized system allowed the automatically input of data,

leaving no room for human error. The great pressure from above resulting from a large

numbers of reports on all kinds of data, was another challenged that I faced while working for

my previous employer. The centralized system resulted to a comprehensive analysis system

that delivered the desired analysis.

I would love to be a part of a collaborative and team oriented environment after being

given this golden opportunity to work in your company.
