UNIT 7 – TRAFFIC

How far is it from your house to school?


→ It is about 3 kilometers from my house to school.
How do you go to school every day?
→ I go to school by bicycle every day.
How long does it take you to go to school?
→ It takes me around 15 minutes to go to school.
Do people in your area obey traffic rules?
→ Some people obey the traffic rules, but others still break them, especially at red lights.
What must we wear when we ride a motorbike?
→ We must wear a helmet when we ride a motorbike.

UNIT 8 – FILMS

How often do you watch films?


→ I watch films about three times a week.
What is your favourite film?
→ My favourite film is Avengers: Endgame.
What type of film is it?
→ It is an action and science fiction film.
Who stars in it?/Who are the main characters in that film?
→ The main characters are Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor, played by Robert Downey Jr.,
Chris Evans, and Chris Hemsworth.
Why do you like it best?
→ I like it because it has great action scenes and an emotional storyline.
Do you think watching films is useful? Why/Why not?
→ Yes, because films can help us relax and improve our language skills.

Can you name some festivals that you know?


→ I know about Tet, Christmas, Diwali, and Halloween.
What is your favourite festival?
→ My favourite festival is Tet.
Where do people hold it?
→ People celebrate Tet all over Vietnam.
When is it organized?
→ Tet is organized at the end of January or beginning of February.
What do people often do during the festival?
→ People clean their houses, visit relatives, give lucky money, and eat traditional food.

UNIT 10 – ENERGY SOURCES

How many types of energy are there? What are they?


→ There are two types: renewable and non-renewable energy.
Can you name some renewable energy sources?
→ Some renewable energy sources are solar, wind, and hydro power.
Why do we call them renewable energy sources?
→ Because they can be naturally replaced and won’t run out.
What are some non-renewable energy sources?
→ Coal, oil, and natural gas are non-renewable energy sources.
Why are they called non-renewable energy sources?
→ Because they are limited and cannot be replaced once used up.
What do you often do to save energy?
→ I turn off lights when not in use and unplug devices.

UNIT 11 – TRAVELLING IN THE FUTURE

What means of transport will you have in the future?


→ I will have a flying car in the future.
When will you have it?
→ I hope to have it in the next 20 years.
Why do you want to have it?
→ Because it can fly and help me avoid traffic jams.
What energy will it run on?
→ It will run on solar energy.
How many passengers will it carry?
→ It will carry about 4 passengers.
What can you do when you are travelling by that means of transport?
→ I can read, relax, or even take a nap while it drives itself.

→ The USA, the UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.
What is the capital of the UK?
→ The capital of the UK is London.
Which countries are kangaroos and koalas native to?
→ They are native to Australia.
Where do men wear kilts?
→ Men wear kilts in Scotland.
Where can we visit the Statue of Liberty?
→ We can visit it in New York City, USA.
Which English-speaking country would you like to visit most? Why?
→ I would like to visit the USA because it has many famous landmarks and universities.
