Shri Ram Global School, a recognised senior secondary
school, is an initiative of the Shri Ram Education Trust and it
is one of the best schools in Delhi. Shri Ram Global School
provides a prodigious and propitious atmosphere for the
integrated evolution of our students. Along with emphasising
on the holistic growth of the students, we also provide equal
opportunity to each student, to identify their acumen and be
the pioneers in their respective fields.

Our founder Sir Shri Ram in 1920, pioneered vocational

education by creating the Commercial Education Trust. The
Trust initially managed the Commercial High School, which
evolved into an Intermediate College in 1926, a degree
college in 1930, and a postgraduate College in 1934. In 1942,
Sir Shri Ram became the College Chairman.

By 1948, though relatively young in Delhi University, the

Commercial College had maximum enrollment. It offered
B.A. courses in Commerce, Economics, and M.A. courses. In
1950, it moved to the University Enclave. In 1947, Sir Shri Ram
founded the Shri Ram Institute for Industrial Research,
focusing on technological innovation and research, which
began operations in 1950.

Lady Shri Ram College for Women was established in 1956 in

New Delhi by Lala Shri Ram in the memory of his wife
Shrimati Phoolan Devi. It started in Daryaganj, Central Delhi,
and is a 5-acre campus, in Lajpat Nagar, South Delhi.

IIn an era marked by global interdependence and complex
international challenges, the need for visionary, solution-driven
leaders has never been more pressing. SRGS Model United Nations
(SRGS MUN) seeks to address this need by offering students a
transformative platform to explore the intricacies of diplomacy,
international relations, and multilateral problem-solving.

Having successfully hosted two impactful editions, SRGS MUN has

established itself as a leading academic simulation that mirrors the
proceedings of the United Nations. This immersive experience
enables students to assume the roles of diplomats and country
representatives, engage in meaningful negotiations, and debate
critical global issues with clarity, composure, and cultural
sensitivity.

At its core, SRGS MUN provides a rigorous learning environment

where participants cultivate essential skills in research, public
speaking, negotiation, and collaboration. Through active
engagement, delegates gain a deeper understanding of
international affairs, along with the ability to articulate

SRGS MUN 2025 is that spark. Whether you’re stepping into this
world for the first time or returning with seasoned footsteps, this
platform will challenge you, inspire you, and change you.

In a world often divided by borders and beliefs, SRGS MUN stands as a

symbol of hope, a platform where young minds like ours can dare to
dream, deliberate, and drive real conversations about the challenges
that define our generation.

There was a time when I sat in the audience watching, learning and
admiring. I remember the nerves before my first speech- feeling like
the words might slip, like my voice might shake. But I also remember
what followed: the thrill of being heard, the pride of growing, the fire
it lit inside me. That’s exactly why I say this with all my heart that you
belong here.

This MUN is not about perfection. It’s about trying, failing, rising, and
speaking again and again until your voice becomes impossible to
ignore. To every delegate, every chair and every secretariat member:

At SRGS Model United Nations, we prioritize a culture of respect
and professionalism in every aspect of the conference. Delegates are
expected to communicate thoughtfully and courteously, whether in
verbal discussions or written documents. It is imperative to avoid
any form of personal attacks, derogatory language, or disrespectful
comments toward individuals or the policies represented by
participating countries.

Respectful conduct is not limited to fellow delegates but extends to

all members involved in the conference, including moderators,
advisers, and support staff. Every individual plays a vital role in
ensuring the smooth functioning and success of the event, and as
such, should be treated with the utmost courtesy and consideration
throughout the proceedings.

To maintain an environment conducive to serious debate and

collaboration, the use of audio, music, or any other disruptive
elements during committee sessions is strictly prohibited. Delegates
are encouraged to remain attentive and focused, ensuring that all
discussions proceed without interruption or distraction.

Finally, all decisions made by the Executive Board are final and
binding. Delegates are expected to respect and adhere to these
rulings, as well as the established rules and procedures of the
conference. This commitment ensures fairness, order, and a
constructive atmosphere that benefits all participants.
