Project:
• 4 students per group.
• Students are free to make their group. There must be some diversity (in term of
department / program of study) in the each group: Ex- 2 UG EE students + 1 UG Other
department; 2 UG students + 1 M.Tech student etc.
• Groups to select their topics.
• Expectations: Understanding of the selected topic by each group member. Analysis,
simulation, study etc. conducted by each group. Presentation of the work done and
results.
• 2 – stage evaluation:
o 1st stage (12 marks): Make 7 min video, upload before 26th Sep. Present on 27th
Sep and 4th Oct (Both Saturdays). Mandatory for all class to attend both days.
o 2nd stage (18 marks): Sometime around end-sem

Note / Instructions:
1. These are course projects, which are part of this course. Instructor will not individually
approve / validate project for students CVs / Resumes.
2. Student attending this course are expected to know the basics of electrical engineering,
including circuit analysis, ac and dc circuits, phasors, etc.
3. Attendance is mandatory. DX grade rules to be followed as per institute guidelines.
4. Notes / books / printouts / Electronic medium / laptops / electronic watches / mobile /
google / e-books / videos etc. are strictly not allowed during quizzes and exams.
5. In any exam / quiz, if the student is 5min late, s/he would not be allowed for the exam /
quiz.
6. Always show the steps of solution/logic. No marks would be given if answer is provided
without justified steps.
7. No make-up and pro rata would be considered for the quizzes missed.
8. Pro rata (or make-up, based on instructor) for missed end-sem only in case of medical
emergency, with approval from instructor.
9. Get you doubts clarified in the lectures. In case any doubt is not clarified during
interaction session due to time constraint, you may email the instructor and fix a mutually
agreeable time for meeting / discussion. Avoid requesting for meeting / discussions just
before mid-sem and end-sem exams.
10. We will use moodle for sharing announcements, slides, marks etc.
