Analog Vs Digital
Digital circuits operate using digital, discrete signals. These circuits are usually made of a combination of transistors
and logic gates and, at higher levels, microcontrollers or other computing chips
Most of the fundamental electronic components -- resistors, capacitors, inductors, diodes, transistors, and operational
amplifiers -- are all inherently analog

Fig 1 Class B Analog Audio Amplifier

• Amplifier – magnitude scaling

• Oscillator – waveform generation

• Filter – removing unwanted signals

• Wave shaping circuits – changing the shape of the wave form

• Converters : Digital – Analog: ADC, DAC

DC – AC : rectifier, Inverter
DC – DC : buck, boost converters
AC(freq 1) – AC(freq 2): Cyclo converter

Analog Integrated Circuits (Ics)

• some memory chips,

• power supply chips,
• some sensors,
• wideband RF and some 5G applications, AFEs—
analog front end (AFE) solutions.
• operational amplifiers (op-amps)
• RC low pass and high pass filters dynamic signal
acquisition (DSA) devices
